Lovely home, terrible management

This is a lovely old Swedish "summer home". That is the standard of this home and works well. HOWEVER, this host does NOT manage the rental of this property well at all. I had booked this very far in advance to be sure to get a place that would accommodate my family. When the date we would arrive got closer we had questions. When I emailed the host, I did not get a response for 2 weeks despite reminders. I called VRBO in the US who said they would contact her and get the information we needed. That never happened. I waited a few more days until after I arrived in Sweden and called the Swedish VRBO. They kept me on the phone for a VERY long time and said they would contact the host to get the address of the place, so all of us who were arriving at different times and were driving in would be able to put the address into the gps app and arrive safely. She said she had emailed the info to us weeks ago, but she had not. She sent it 2 days before arrival and in German!! Useless to us. Fortunately we were visiting people who were brought up in the area and knew which house this was and could provide the address. So don't rent this house unless you know people in the area! When we got there, there were no sheets on the beds and she claimed that in Sweden people bring their own. I checked with Swedes and they said, no that is not the case with Short-term Rentals. AND it was not stated on the website either. It is unfortunate that this place is so mismanaged.

Alles hat gepasst, die Lage ist sensationell um "runter zu kommen", das Haus bietet alles wie beschrieben und hält seine Versprechen. Ein direkter Zugang zum See, bzw. zum Wasser wäre perfekt, das ist leider nicht vorhanden, lediglich der Bootsanleger ist ca. 20 Minuten Fußläufig erreichbar!

Aus eins mach zwei

Eine Buchung - zwei Quartiere auf dem Gut, eines traditionell,das andere modern. Der Verwalter empfing uns sehr freundlich und kümmerte sich immer sofort um um unsere Anliegen. Die Kinder hatten viel Platz zum Spielen drinnen und draußen.

Schönes Haus mit toller Umgebung

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit dort. Das Gelände beim Haus ist toll, wir durften von den vielen Obstbäumen pflücken und haben auch die Boote und Sauna gerne genutzt.

Ein wunderbarer Ort

Wir hatten als Großfamilie einen wunderbaren Urlaub auf dem gepflegten, schönen Gelände. Die Kinder hatten unendlich viel Freiraum zum Spielen. Die Großzügigkeit der Gastgeberin war außergewöhnlich, so konnten wir jeden Morgen Himbeeren ernten, ein Lagerfeuer vor dem Haus für das Feuerfrühstück entzünden und sogar für ein paar Tage noch ein Zelt aufstellen. Die Umgebung lädt zu vielen Aktivitäten ein und die Bootstouren auf dem Fluß hatten bei Regenwetter Abenteuercharakter. Alles in allem lohnt sich ein Wiederkommen!!

Familienurlaub

Der Aufenthalt war sehr erholsam. Der Garten bietet sehr viel Platz. In der Umgebung gibt es einen Fluss, See und auch eine Quelle zu entdecken. Für die Kinder war es sehr aufregend. Persönliche Anliegen wurden ernst genommen und nach Möglichkeit sofort umgesetzt. Die Kommunikation hat auch super geklappt. Wir bedanken uns.

Danke für einen schönen Urlaub

Super, wir sind sehr freundlich aufgenommen worden und man stand uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Wir waren fünf Ehepaare mit Kindern und es war toll, auch weil jeder einen Rückzugsort hatte. Das Grundstück erlaubt viele Aktivitäten. Wir behalten es in guter Erinnerung und eine erneute Reise ist nicht ausgeschlossen.

Historiks bygning fra 1750'erne med mange detaljer og historier

Abschalten in der Natur mit völliger Ruhe

Die Abgeschiedenheit des Hauses in der Natur , hat den meisten von uns sehr gut gefallen. Das Haus ist mit allem eingerichtet was man benötigt. Grundstück riesig und man kann sich die Zeit mit Ballspielen und Rumtollen vertreiben. Leider ist nur eine Sonnenliege vorhanden ( Haus für 16 Personen) . Sieben Schlafzimmer mit jeweils eigenem Bad war super. Leider war bei der Beschreibung nicht zu ersehen, daß der Angelplatz doch ca 2 km entfernt ist. Baden würde ich dort auch nicht. Die Boote haben ihre beste Zeit hinter sich . Wir haben einen alten Steinbruch in ca 3 km Entfernung entdeckt, dort konnte man baden. Dies stand leider auch in keiner Info-Mappe . Badestellen am See in der Nähe haben wir vergeblich gesucht.

Vielen Dank für die Anregungen, wir werden mehr Sonnenliegen hinstellen. Leider dürfen wir keinen Zugang zum See herstellen, vor ca. 80 Jahren gab es den noch - aber jetzt ist er mitsamt Uferumrahmung strenges Naturschutzgebiet. Das hat immerhin den Vorteil, daß dort kein Baderummel stattfindet, meist ist man dort allein auf weiter Flur. Auch der kleine Tidanfluß gehört zum Naturschutzgebiet, uns gefällt das Baden dort - aber das Wasser ist wegen des sumpfigen Bodens halt rüb.

Big comfortable house.

The house is very big, comfortable and warm and renovated with good taste. Every room has its own bathroom which is unusual for a house like this, very convenient for large groups. The two small kitchens are perhaps a bit too small if the house is full with people but for us it worked without problem. We were there in February and there was no snow which made the surroundings a bit dull but in summertime the huge garden is surely amazing.
