Rustic 2-bedroom lakeside cottage near Nisswa

Built in the 1950s, this rustic cottage sits on twelve acres of preserved forest and lakeshore only seven minutes from Nisswa, Minnesota. It sat unoccupied for many years, but is now available as a quiet place of retreat on Middle Cullen Lake, where the sounds of loon calls echo across the water throughout the day.

Quaintly-decorated kitchen, full bathroom, two bedrooms (Queen and full beds), living room, and dining room.

Canoe and/or kayak available upon request. There is currently no dock in the water but we are looking at having one put in. We are located just beside the public access/boat launch point.

Our entrance gate is exactly 10 feet wide, so larger boats/trailers will not fit on the property.

The entire property (12 acres and 1000 feet of lakeshore) is available to the guests. Other than the area around the house, the property is heavily wooded. It is protected by the Minnesota Land Trust.

Both entrances to the house are up short flights of stairs (6 steps or so). There is currently no wifi on the property.
