The Frühmesserhaus (formerly known as “Früemess”) in the sunny village of Partschins near Merano, South Tyrol, captivates with its blend of historic charm and modern design. High-quality, contemporary materials complement the centuries-old structure built of wood and stone.
The 56-square-meter apartment consists of two historic bedrooms (with vaulted and beamed ceilings), a living room, a kitchen, and a bathroom. The southeast-facing terrace offers a breathtaking view of the Merano valley basin—perfect for cosy breakfasts and enchanting evenings.
The first written mention of the house dates back to the 14th century (Late Gothic period). The Früemess in Partschins, also known as “Früemesswiden” since 1728, was founded in 1470 by Anna Wittib Hansen Zollner on the Töll. According to the terms of the endowment, the chaplain of the Früemess was to “perpetually occupy and possess” her house and apartment in Partschins after her passing. Consequently, the house remained in the church’s possession for over 500 years. Today, you can spend unforgettable moments with your loved ones in this unique atmosphere.
