For shared use: swimming pool (10 x 5 m, depth 140 cm, seasonal availability: 01.May. - 31.Oct.). Private: garden furniture, barbecue, parking at the house. Supermarket 2 km, restaurant 2.7 km, bar 1.5 km, bus stop 3.7 km. Nearby attractions: Alessandria 23 km, Asti 36 km. Please note: car recommended.
"Lydia", 9-room villa 300 m2 on 2 levels. Large living/dining room with open-hearth fireplace (only for decoration), dining table and TV. Exit to the garden, to the swimming pool. 1 double bedroom with bath/shower/bidet/WC. Exit to the balcony. 2 double bedrooms. Kitchenette (dishwasher, 4 induction hot plates, kettle, microwave, electric coffee machine). Bath/bidet/WC, shower/bidet/WC. Upper floor: (exterior staircase) large living/dining room with open-hearth fireplace (only for decoration), dining table and TV. The perfect Italian holiday

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Lydia and honestly don’t recognize the negative reviews at all. The house was very comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. The view over the hills is absolutely stunning, the perfect setting for relaxing days by the pool or long summer evenings with a barbecue. The owners are extremely friendly and welcoming, and it’s clear that all the issues mentioned in older reviews have been fully taken care of.

Neglected

Not as listed, it’s unkempt. Overgrown & not well maintained. Key holder is unpleasant, and just gives excuses for the state of the house. Dirty floors, bathrooms and kitchens. The walls are peeling. No air conditioning. There is no water pressure, if water is in use downstairs there is no water upstairs. The house has no sofa, or other soft furniture. No oven in any kitchen, just microwave and cook top. WiFi doesn’t work/bad connection. The only positive I can find is clean bedding.

Please rest assured that this holiday home is well maintained and cared for by the owner. All reported issues during this stay were addressed immediately, this includes the grass being mowed. There are two barbeques in the garden, 1 old but usable, the other newly bought in April this year. Cleaning is always thoroughly done, including sanitising of the floor. Any cleaning during the guest's stay should be done by guest, as these are self-catering holiday homes and cleaning is done by the host between leaving and arriving guests only.

Poorly maintained, overgrown and tired. Walls are peeling off. The kitchens don’t have an oven. Water pressure is non existent, if someone uses water downstairs there is no water upstairs. WiFi doesn’t work downstairs, upstairs the connection is really poor. No air conditioning. No sofa or other soft furniture except the beds. Dining room chairs are not sturdy, some are broken. Outdoor furniture is old and the plastic is brittle. Not as listed, everything is unkempt. Dirty floors, bathrooms and kitchens. When our complaints were taken to key holder, he was unpleasant. He did have someone come weed whack around the pool, but had a bad attitude about it. The only positive is that the bedding was clean. And that the pool robot made the pool clean enough to use.

The water pressure was to be checked by the technician, though his entry was refused, therefore it was checked after departure and is working fine. There are two barbeques in the garden, 1 old but usable, the other newly bought in April this year. Cleaning is always thoroughly done, including sanitizing of the floor. Any cleaning during the guest's stay should be done by guest, as these are self-catering holiday homes and cleaning is done by the host between leaving and arriving guests only. Alles in allem prima

Die Unterkunft hat eine sensationelle Lage, ist wahnsinnig geräumig und der 50m2 Pool lässt keine Wünsche offen. In der Küche darf man manchmal kreativ sein aber alles in allem machbar. Die Eigentümerin wohnt mit auf dem Gelände ist aber eigentlich nie zu sehen. Außer man brauch Sie, dann ist Sie sofort zur Stelle. Das Haus ist nicht neu und hat seine Blessuren aber war ordentlich und sauber. Fazit, wir hatten eine tolle Woche im Haus Lydia.

Prachtig uitzicht

Positief: Groote van huis, uitzicht en vriendelijk personeel. Negatief: Slecht onderhouden, meeste pannen werken niet op de inductieplaat. Geen waterdruk; 4 douches, maar je kan er maar 1 gebruiken. Airco's werken niet (geen buitenunit) Woning bestaat uit 2 afzonderlijke appartementen, de bovenste had 1 pan, 3 lepels en 1 mes. Een aantal lakens en handdoeken hadden vlekken. Een aantal bedden waren heel slecht; je voelde de veren. Al met al had ik meer verwacht voor wat ik betaalde.
