117 Seaside Terrace is a new 2,257-square-foot oceanfront home in Seaside Retreat. It has four bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms and room for nine, with the beach reached by the neighborhood boardwalk over the dunes.

The luxury here is practical and visible: rooms with real scale, a true main-floor king suite, two private bedroom balconies, a prep pantry and second refrigerator, and a 35-foot screened porch that functions as a second great room. The house gives the group one strong place to gather and enough room not to do everything together.

Wide doors connect the living and dining areas to the screened porch. The kitchen has a long quartz island with seating, double wall ovens, a full-size refrigerator, generous storage and a separate prep pantry with a second sink. The living room adds comfortable seating, a smart TV, built-ins and a window seat.

The main-floor king suite includes a dressing area, closet and private bath with two sinks, a freestanding tub and a glass walk-in shower. Also downstairs: a powder room and a full-size laundry and mudroom with washer, dryer, utility sink, cabinetry and a second refrigerator. That extra capacity earns its keep when nine people arrive with groceries and beach towels.

JEKYLL ISLAND OUTDOOR LIVING

The screened porch runs 35 feet across the back of the main gathering space. One end is set for outdoor meals; the other has deep seating around a wood-burning fireplace. A gas grill sits just outside on the paver patio.

Upstairs, the ocean-facing balcony looks across the dunes and maritime trees to the Atlantic. The Seaside Retreat boardwalk leads directly over the dunes to the beach. No car-loading ritual required.

Summer Waves Water Park is about half a mile away. The Convention Center, Beach Village, Jekyll Market and nearby restaurants are within roughly one mile. The Jekyll Island Club National Historic Landmark District, Mosaic, Jekyll Island Museum and Georgia Sea Turtle Center are about two miles away, with Jekyll Island Golf Club about three miles from the house.

SEASIDE RETREAT CONSTRUCTION NOTICE

Seaside Retreat is a new neighborhood, and construction continues on some neighboring homes and the community pool. The pool is not currently available, but should be completed by October 2026. Introductory pricing is in effect during the construction period.
