The ZUM LANDHAUS was originally built in 1900 as an inn on the North Sea coast and was a restaurant with a long history. In the past, travellers could stay here, enjoy a meal, and breathe in the fresh North Sea air. Where our guests are now welcomed by the car park, there used to be stables and feeding areas for their exhausted horses. In recent years, the building has been transformed into a modern holiday apartment complex through an extensive renovation. This has created an exciting and striking contrast between old and new. With great respect for the tradition and history of this historic property, the building has been made ready for the 21st century. Inside ZUM LANDHAUS, you’ll find a modern, renovated, and redesigned living space in the premium segment.

This bright and charming apartment (approx. 84 m²) is located in the former inn “ZUM LANDHAUS,” a beautiful historic building dating back to 1900. It stands out for its great attention to detail: 3 spacious rooms with high ceilings in the living area and a sensational amount of natural light. It features two bedrooms, a new, chic kitchen, a very modern, spacious full bathroom with a rain shower, and a patio area in the garden. Here you can relax—far away from the hustle and bustle of Büsum or SPO!

The “Matthias Claudius” apartment on the ground floor of the country house is ideal for large families. This bright and charming apartment (approx. 84 m²) captivates with its great attention to detail: 3 spacious rooms with high ceilings and wonderful natural light streaming in through the double-hung, floor-to-ceiling windows in every room.
As soon as you enter the apartment, you’re greeted by a fantastic view through the spacious living, dining, and kitchen area, which offers plenty of room for six people and features a practical layout. This gives the floor plan a modern and contemporary feel. From the living room, you have direct access to your own large terrace. The living and dining area features an open, bright, and very spacious built-in kitchen (example photo of the kitchen from the neighbouring apartment; the layout is nearly identical, just mirrored).

From the hallway, you’ll reach the children’s room and the spacious master bedroom. The interior designer planned a niche in the hallway for a 2.5-meter-long built-in closet, which offers plenty of storage space in addition to the dressers in the bedrooms.
The apartment features a very modern, spacious full bathroom with a rain shower, high-quality matte black fixtures, and a washing machine and dryer.

A highlight is the private patio area in the garden. The approximately 20 m² patio is almost completely screened off from the street by a beautifully grown hedge and serves as a peaceful retreat at the rear of the country house—ideal for dog lovers and those who enjoy the North Sea! It’s a wonderful place to relax, and it really gives you that holiday feeling.

The stylishly furnished apartment features a very modern, minimalist design. The two separate bedrooms (a double bed in the master bedroom, two pull-out beds in the guest room and children’s room, respectively) accommodate up to 6 guests.
A cot for babies/toddlers is also available and can be provided for a fee upon request.
