About this property

Centrally located 3-bedroom house near beach, boardwalk, brewery, bars, and park

Boardwalk Breeze

Discover adventures in Algoma from this centrally located, dog friendly 3-bedroom house. We are located next door to Ahnapee Brewery, Crescent Beach & Boardwalk, Heritage Park (Wet Whistle, Shanty Days, Kite Festival), and Son of Skaliwags (Casual Dive Bar). Only a block to Algoma’s winery & cidery - Von Stiehl, the marina, harbor/pier, unique restaurants, dive bars, shops, and art galleries. Whether you’re here for a quick getaway, a festival, or an extended stay, this delightful house is ready to make your holiday one to remember.

Notes:

Embrace lake life at its best at Boardwalk Breeze. If you've never been to a lake, it is different than a condo in town. Like all lakeshore properties, there are seasonal shifts in humidity and the occasional insect. This property is professionally cleaned, disinfected, and receives preventative pest control.

We love furry family members! Your well-behaved medium-sized dog is welcome to join your stay. There are many places for your four-legged friend to walk, but please make sure to pick up after them. Let us know in advance if you’re bringing a pet so we can prepare. A small pet fee applies to help with extra cleaning and care.

The home doesn’t have central air, but it’s well‑ventilated thanks to a single window unit in the downstairs area, plus ceiling fans to help circulate the breeze. Upstairs, the large windows are screen‑protected, letting in fresh lake air while keeping out bugs. This setup works well for keeping things cool and comfortable.

Two designated off-street parking spots in the driveway. Driveway is big enough for most trailers. Be aware there is no overnight street parking November 1 to March 31 on any city street between 2am and 5am. During the summer season, there is plenty of additional vehicle parking across the street in a public parking lot. Please obey all posted street signs. Per citywide ordinance, there is no parking of vehicles or trailers on lawns. Additionally, you cannot park any type of trailer (including boat trailers) or motor homes for more than 48 hours on city streets. Trailer parking is available at Algoma Marina.

Currently, we are planning to renovate the laundry room to add a second bathroom/mudroom/laundry (no active construction). Therefore, there is no onsite laundry. Algoma Coin Laundry is a short walk north. We are excited for next year’s grand reopening.

The gas grill provided for your use is not professionally cleaned between each stay, and the fuel tank is not routinely refilled. Please be aware that you may need to clean the grill or refill the tank during your stay.

Please do not clean your fish inside the house. Algoma Marina has an amazing fish cleaning area. Please dispose of waste appropriately. Please follow Wisconsin DNR recommendations for responsible fish disposal. Fish waste, including guts, can be recycled at Algoma Marina.

The property requires 2-3 steps to enter and exit. Bedrooms and bathroom are located up a flight of stairs.

The house is professionally cleaned and disinfected. Check-out and Check-in times are necessary to allow enough time to turnover units. Please see Welcome Guide during your stay for more information.

Security cameras are located on the outside of the property. They monitor the driveway and entryway. There are no cameras inside the unit.

You can relax knowing that we are here for you during your stay. Call, text, or message 24/7. We will answer and help anyway we can.

I grew up on Norris Lake. When my family moved North, I instantly fell in love with Algoma. This town has so many things to enjoy and I'm excited to share everything it has to offer with my guests.

Why they chose this property

Walking distance to downtown Algoma: restaurants, dive bars with live music, Von Steihl winery, cider house, Pizza Bowl - bowling for the kids, Ahnapee brewery (I'm a Mug Club Member and will try anything they have on Nitro), Crescent Beach Boardwalk, the marina, and numerous parks. Guaranteed parking for all Festivals in the area.

What makes this property unique

Location! I love walking next door, getting a mug of beer, and sitting on the picnic table in the front yard.
