Beautiful home & so comfortable and clean!! Great communication with Tracie & she was very welcoming. Back yard was so peaceful & beautiful. Watching horses in an open field next to the property were an added bonus. At night the stars felt like a blanket, so stunning & bright. Perfect location to relax & enjoy family.
Lovely home. Beds were comfortable. However hot water in master bath never really got hot. Well stocked kitchen and bath items and beach gear. First time staying where host also was staying, but never heard or saw them. Host did have flowers delivered for us which was a nice touch!
Awesome place in Door County with large family with pets
The only reason I didn't rate it a 5 overall was because the hot water heater, dishwasher, and A/C weren't working great when we were there. Other than that, the place was perfect for our family of 5 with 2 dogs. Within easy walking and biking distance of a beautiful biking trail that goes into Sturgeon Bay. Beautiful property with horses and goats to look at. Host was very responsive with excellent communication.
House was immaculate. Beautiful accommodations. A lot of extras were included. Close to a lot of attractions in a quiet country neighborhood. We often sat out on the deck in the evenings and watched the wild life. A cherry orchard was just down the road from the house. We definitely would book again.
3 nice sized bedrooms with 2 bathrooms. Extra room for an additional air mattress. Any utensils we needed were provided. The house was very clean and nice. Large couch and table for gatherings. Fire pit could have been used. Very easy check in and check out!
House was in a nice location. Spacious and roomy. I do not want to give this place a bad review because it really was all in all a nice find! But I do want to mention that the Beds were rock hard! The mattress are best described as camper mattress! There wasn’t much for hot water and did not get hot. The listing says host in lower apartment… maybe that is taken differently to those that read that but to me “lower apartment” means a different unit. Lower apartment in this home was host lived in the basement However, used a separate entry. The stairs from upstairs to down was gated off so I’m not sure exactly the construction. It felt very odd and “off” at first but we adjusted fine. Finally, there was no kitchen dish soap. This comment is a frustration for any place because the hosts give you a list of everything they want you to do to leave the house the way you found it but without the tools to do so. Other than these few things this was a great place!
The house was clean and spacious. And the lot was very spacious. We enjoyed sitting out on the back patio enjoying our morning coffee. It is a nice rural neighborhood. We enjoyed seeing the horses and hearing the rooster crow of a morning. It was nice to meet the owner of the property as she lives in the basement of the home. The internet kept going out which made the TV unusable. And the cycling of either the sump pump or else the sewer lift pump was loud enough in one of the bedrooms to interfere with sleeping. But otherwise we enjoyed our stay very much.
The property was beautiful, relaxing, and was a perfect location in the country. Tracie was very responsive to emails/texts and everything we needed was readily available, from towels to dishes and pots and pans. It’s a great spot for a mom/daughter weekend or a larger group getaway. I’d definitely put this place as one of my favorites so far.
We really liked this house. The open kitchen, living, dining was great. We enjoyed the large kitchen table so we could all be together. The extra room to the west was awesome for the kids to spread out. The location was nice, close enuf to drive to the beach and northern door county but we enjoyed the country setting. The only thing we would suggest would be a larger water heater to accommodate large groups - Tracie mentioned it was smaller in the notes but after a long day, it would have been nice to have warm showers. Overall I would definitely recommend this property.
We stayed here for a long anticipated fishing trip for Chinook “King” Salmon. The accommodations EXCEEDED our expectations with spacious, well stocked and comfortable surroundings, all within a tranquil, quiet, safe, country living estate. Tracy goes above and beyond for her guests and we can’t wait for next years trip!
Upon arrival, everything was clean and just like the pictures and description online. Kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed. House was spacious and nicely furnished. Only negatives were the lack of hot water in the master bath shower and the inoperative dish washer. Plenty of hot water available at the master bath sink and other faucets in kitchen and second bath. Appeared an adjustment to the shower faucet is necessary -- it would only move a quarter turn. Recommend a plumber inspect and adjust the shower and the dishwasher be repaired/replaced. Appreciated the use of the washer and dryer.
Tracie was very easy to communicate with. The home was extremely well maintained and equipped. We hosted a small gathering for my mother’s 90th birthday. There was good inside and outside seating, the kitchen was the best equipped of any place I have rented. Tracie allowed us to check in early to set up food which was very helpful. She even sent a bouquet for Mom from a neighboring business. She even offered to mail my grandson’s blanket to him after we left it behind. I would definitely stay here again. Access from hwy 42 was easy. Good space for people to spread out and a variety of games, books, and activities for rainy days. Thank you Tracie.
Tracie’s home was very comfortable and nicely decorated. She pays attention to detail… had everything we needed and then some :). Tracie was also a great communicator and prompt in responding. I loved that we had a garage to pull into since we generally came home late… due to all of the fun activities to do in Door County. Our one and ONLY suggestion would be that it would have been disclosed on line that there was a cat nearby….due to allergies ….otherwise, her home was perfect .I would highly recommend staying here… especially if you have a family… sooooo much room!Thank you Tracie for hosting us…
My friends and I had a blast! The property is clean, comfortable, beautiful, and so so spacious for the price we paid. Check-in/check-out process was easy. We were so excited to see horses in our backyard - an added bonus! I will definitely keep this place in mind when I come back to Door County!
We had an incredible getaway weekend! Host was incredibly responsive to any questions that we had, check in was a breeze, and the property was beautiful!! We brought our pups with us, so the huge backyard was amazing for letting them run! House had anything and everything that we could possibly need. We will definitely be back to visit again!
The home was just as advertised. Our host was super helpful and gracious. She allowed us an additional 2 hours to check out as our 3 husbands participated in the Sturgeon Bay bicycle event! Home was clean and more than spacious. We never knew she was home in the downstairs apartment. The side yard is large and next stay we’ll have to remember to bring out croquet set. Thank you Tracie for opening your home to us!

I'm an easy going person, friendly, I keep to myself usually. Feel free to say hello if you see me, but I try to be unseen and unheard as much as possible to give you the space and privacy you deserve.
Why they chose this property
I have lived in Door County my whole life, so I guess it chose me. I've grown to appreciate the beauty and uniqueness this area has with its long shorelines and picturesque landscapes.
What makes this property unique
Something unique about this property is that I live in the lower apartment which allows me to be available if any issue should arise. I do keep to myself, and am often not there due to my schedule. I do have a couple cats who live with me as well incase anyone has allergies. They are confined to the lower quarters 100% of the time, but air travels so please keep that in mind when booking. Thank you.
