We really enjoyed our stay in this home! It was clean and the beds were comfortable. It is also located close to downtown. We look forward to staying again!
This house was extremely well kept, clean and fully stocked with kitchen stuff and bathroom linens. The beds , pillows and family room furniture were very comfortable. Communication with Meghan was immediate every time. They shoveled the driveway as needed, too! Highly recommend this house and would defiitely stay here again if in the area.
Wonderful stay! This house met all of our needs. Loved the fenced in backyard for the puppies and the firepit for canpfire! Washer and dryer was greatly appreciated!
This adorable home had everything and anything you could possibly want! The location was superb! Perfect for taking in the Door Peninsula and State Parks and beach areas! The deck and fenced yard were perfect for our golden retrievers. We will definitely book again!
The Green House was as sweet, cozy, clean & comfortable as you could get. All the information was given for easy arrival & clear .instructions given in binder under living room TV. One of the best homes we've stayed in & our sweet Daisy loved it too....all the conveniences were thought of for people & pet owners...Thank You❤️

We loved the house and so did our two pugs! We all enjoyed the backyard and fire pit. The yard being fenced in was perfect for bringing our dogs. Our 14 year old was also glad to have her own space in the 2nd bedroom when she needed a break from her parents. 😂 We appreciated the thought put into the small details for basic essentials, such as having a koozie available, lighter fluid, firewood or cooking oil for making a birthday cake. Highly recommended!
We walked in and were pleasantly surprised. The pictures do not do the home justice. The actual house was more spacious and well decorated then the pictures showed.
The owner must have added central air and the place was exceptionally clean.
The kitchen was well equipped with everything you could possibly need. There is a lovely deck overlooking the fenced in backyard which our Scotties loved. The neighborhood was very quiet but close to everything. The property description delivers everything it says, but the home goes well above and beyond! We plan on going to the annual event next year (this was our first year), and we know exactly where we are staying.
We so appreciated this dog friendly house with its secure, fenced backyard. The neighborhood is friendly and quiet and we felt very safe. The home is very clean with all you need in the kitchen (staying for 6 days we brought everything we'd need but there are "starter" supplies of everything 'til you can run to the store) , comfortable beds with great pillows, nicely decorated, and with a pleasant deck to enjoy your coffee in the morning or a glass of wine after a day of exploring! Plenty to see and do in Door Co. We recommend a stop at the Visitor's Center on 42 for maps, brochures and suggestions - friendly and knowledgeable people. We loved checking out all the county parks and walking the beaches. Cana Island Park was a favorite (ride the wagon over to the island and pay $10), be sure to get the history of the light house from one of the volunteers.
We had a wonderful stay at The Green House and Mehgan was quick to respond to our questions. Thank you so much for sharing your home.

PS: We only regret not spending a couple more days - we never had time to check out all the wineries!
We loved our time at this property. It was clean and incredibly cozy. The location was perfect for enjoying Sturgeon Bay and provided easy access to the rest of the peninsula. We were most in need of a pet-friendly location and this property provided just that. Our pup enjoyed the fenced in back yard, which was nice for all of us. The sheets included on the house allowed us to let her on the couch and bed with us, just like at our home. We would stay here again. 10 out of 10 - highly recommended.
The house was perfect! The house was very clean and well stocked. The back yard was great for our very active dogs and the neighborhood was very quiet and close to the city park and downtown. We definitely enjoyed relaxing each evening after hiking days of door county with our fur babies. We will definitely stay again in the future.
Exactly what we wanted. The house was clean and comfortable. You would never know that pets are allowed. No odors. Our dogs enjoyed the backyard. The kitchen had everything we needed. Easy check in and we lived the keyless entry. We will stay here again.
We had a Nice time at our stay, the home was clean and the neighborhood was quiet. It had everything that we needed for our stay. We would definitely come back.
The home was clean and well kept when we arrived. The fenced-in backyard is perfect for our two dogs to enjoy! This was our second year at the "Green House" and we will stay again!!!
The house is perfect for a small family, and although we didn’t bring a dog, it is dog friendly and fenced as well. The beds are super comfy with lots of pillows. It had everything you needed for preparing and cooking your own meals. The location is close to multiple grocery stores as well as downtown. It was a good jumping off point for Door county. The family loved it. I’d stay again!
Perfect for our needs. Quiet location and good home base for all our door county excursions

Hello! My husband and I were born and raised in the Sturgeon Bay area. After college we re-located to central Wisconsin and about two years we came back to beautiful Door County to be closer to family.
In the summer I enjoy going to the beach, attending outdoor concerts, boating and fishing, gardening, and photography. In the winter I enjoy ice fishing, snowmobiling, and curling up with a nice book.
