Our cottage provided a breathtaking view of Green Bay and even included the sound of waves to lull us to sleep. Fall colors were at their peak and we loved the forest around the cottage.
Nice quiet location. Not too far of a drive from all door county towns. Especially liked that we had wifi service. Nice new tv. Galley kitchen and small bathroom but much nicer than a motel and the water front view and fire ring is the main attraction.
Loved this property! From the dog-friendliness, to the bike access, and of course, sunsets over the lake. I definitely recommend for a weekend retreat of rest and relaxation. While, as noted, there is no WiFi, there is a smart tv with streaming available for entertainment. The location is just a short drive to anything you would want to see in Door county.
We had a wonderful stay! However, I don’t think the grass has been mowed for 3 or 4 weeks and tree limbs hang way down touching car as you come in driveway.
The cottage small, but for 4 people is good. We used sofa in the living room. This place is clean. The area is very nice. We're recommend this cottage .
Nice small yard with fire pit right on the bay! Beautiful sunsets and good location! Beautiful state and county parks in the area! I imagine it’s a lot more populated in warmer months but we loved the peace and quiet! Cabin is small and cozy and very clean! It had everything we needed!
This was such a cute little cottage. Perfect for our group of 4.
Beds were comfortable. Everything was visually pleasing. Well stocked. Owner took the time to fill planters with spring flowers. Area was quiet and peaceful . Wasn’t too far from the town where there were lots of cute little shops and bars. And the sunset views were stunning!!
Didn’t like how far out of the way we had to drive to check in but that was a minor detail.
Would definitely stay again.
Cozy cottage, perfect for a short friends getaway. The water is just a few feet away, and the sound of the waves lulled us to sleep at night. Awesome sunsets. Cottage is small but clean and well stocked, even with extras like hand sanitizer, hand soap, etc. and plenty of extra towels and toiletries. Enjoyed our short time here!!
This cottage is cozy but has everything you need. It's small, but you won't miss the space. With expansive views of the bay and only steps to the water/ice, you will have a big experience regardless. We enjoyed our winter excursions - it's a short drive to a lot of what's going on in Door County.
As a kid we came up to Door County every summer and stayed in a family owned cottage in Baileys Harbor. The location and view of this cottage were spectacular but it is very small. If it rains and you’re stuck inside like I was, it can be quite uncomfortable. The furniture is small and uncomfortable as well. Ideally when you come to DC you’re out and about most of the time. In that case this is a perfect place to rest and relax between “outings.”
Charming cottage on the shore of Green Bay. Very clean. Had all we needed. We enjoyed the weekend. I would have made clear that there was no inside table to eat at. Table and chairs on the deck, but this time of year is usually not warm enough. Cute place though!
These three cabins sit right on Green Bay at Little Harbor. The view is amazing. Our labrador retriever had plenty of time swimming. There isn't a beach, but it is possible to walk down some smaller rocks to the water (bring your water shoes!) The bay is shallow and most of the tijme calmer than the surrounding water. The dock is not sturdy enough for boats. We stayed at Starboard Cottage. It's a vintage cabin, with a small kitchen and microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, stove, refrigerator, counter with two stools, dishes, pots and pans, and utensils. The living room has been renovated and has a sofa and two chairs, tv and fireplace. The bedrooms have one full-sized bed and one dresser each, with a rack to hang clothes. The bathroom has a shower and plenty of nice towels and supplies. The cottage was clean and comfortable.
There are four adirondack chairs outside, a table and chairs with umbrella, a fire ring and a charcoal grill. We enjoyed sunsets, campfires, star-gazing, and watching the boats and pelicans. We even saw a mink running around on the rocks.
The cabin is right on Bay Shore Drive, but sheltered from the road by trees and in a quiet area. It's a bit of a drive (or a nice bike ride) into town, but we liked it that way. There is access to hiking up the bluff nearby. Route 42 is a short drive away.
We had an amazing vacation here, and we'll be back!
Place was as expected. Clean, quiet, easy access to attractions on the Peninsula. Nice evenings around the fire pit by the water. Should have checked ahead of time about docking a boat at the pier, too shallow and unprotected. Dead algae buid up on shore from the over fertile bay did not make for easy kayak launch and a little smelly until the fire in the pit got going. Stove not working correctly and DVD player broken but that is not why we came to door county. Overall, a great place to stay.
Loved the place. No wifi was harder than expected.

We own and operate a small hotel in Sturgeon Bay, WI. I was a school teacher and my husband a welding inspector but decided to try our hand at running a hotel. We started 30 years ago and have never looked back. We love it. It does get a bit cold in the winter.... haha
