A stunning historic half-timbered house in a dreamlike lakeside setting! Just a few metres from the shore of Lake Rur, this completely restored and renovated, one-of-a-kind gem shines brightly. The house is one of the oldest, if not the oldest, in Rurberg.
Every room offers a view of Lake Rur and its fantastic surroundings.

The historic half-timbered house, built on a quarrystone foundation, is furnished with exquisite designer furniture. When you wake up in the morning, you’ll be immersed in a world of relaxation within this historic building.
You have a choice of two bathrooms. One bathroom is fully finished with elegant natural stone and offers a wonderful place to relax with its stylish bathtub.
The other bathroom, with its light-colored tile floor and marble-tiled shower, captivates with its historic design.
The bedrooms, reading room, loft, and kitchen feature hardwood floors. The remaining rooms are tiled.
The ground floor features the newly furnished designer kitchen and the wine/coffee chill-out lounge. The new kitchen is equipped as follows: refrigerator with freezer compartment, built-in convection oven, and induction cooktop. Exhaust hood, dishwasher, filter coffee maker, microwave, kitchen scale, new stainless steel pots and pans, new tableware for up to 8 people, stainless steel cutlery for up to 8 people,
The entryway features, among other things, the historic fireplace.
The former barn has been converted into a living area. It offers you various options for use. The large dining table, with its wooden top, seats up to 8 people. In front of the wood-burning stove, a corner lounge invites you to relax. From the living room area, you can enjoy the view of Lake Rur, the garden, and the living hall. An LED flat-screen TV is, of course, provided.
There is space to park one car in the courtyard in front of the half-timbered house. This parking spot is free of charge.
Due to the open layout of the historic building and the associated risk of falling, this holiday rental is not suitable for children under 10 years of age.

This beautiful house has been completely refurbished,
On the ground floor are the first dining room, the kitchen, the wine/coffee chill-out lounge, the entryway with a historic hearth (where meals were once prepared), the first reading area, and the natural stone bathroom with a bathtub.
A stone staircase leads to the ground floor, where you’ll find the large living hall—its open-concept design, extending all the way to the gable, creates a unique living experience. Also on this floor are the reading room, the second bathroom, and two bedrooms. You enter the second bedroom through a historic double-leaf door from the first bedroom
A historic spiral staircase leads up to the second floor, where you’ll find the master bedroom and an open loft with a “B&B Italia designer futon bed.” Read, relax, or even sleep—the choice is yours.



Check-in is available from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and check-out from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
