Black Diamond Lodge is a spacious 3,600-square-foot custom log cabin — a vacationer's dream just half a mile from Terry Peak Ski Area and adjacent to Black Hills National Forest, with hiking and ATV trails at your door. This pet-friendly 5-bedroom, 4.5-bath retreat spoils groups with granite surfaces, a stainless kitchen with pantry, and custom log trim throughout, plus an eight-person hot tub on the lower deck and a grill on the upper deck with spectacular views.



Cozy up by two gorgeous fireplaces, and let everyone loose in the game room with foosball, darts, a train table, and board games. We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was incredibly spacious, spotless, and very well maintained. There was plenty of room for everyone to relax without ever feeling crowded. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Beautiful log cabin. Very responsive host. Super close to Terry Peak. Reduced rating since it was listed to sleep 16 people and only had beds for 14. We had to buy an air mattress for everyone to sleep.

Our favorite cabin in this Black Hills!

We've been staying at Black Diamond every year for the last 10 years. It's a wonderful cabin with plenty of accomodations, a spacious kitchen, 5 bedrooms and a hottub. It had a huge wrap around deck overlooking Spearfish Canyon. I look forward to coming back every year and highly recommend it to anyone looking for lodging in the Terry Peak area.

Perfect for Families

We had an amazing time at this lodge! For our first extended family vacation-this lodge was perfect to give everyone enough space to relax and enjoy the Black Hills. Recommend AWD or a vehicle that can handle terrain to get up the driveway.

Beautiful Home-lots of room!

I loved the 5 king size beds and many full bathrooms. Multiple living rooms, and 3 porches with so much space! We were a group of 12 and had a wonderful time in this black hills retreat.

The Black diamond Lodge was perfect for our family. Needed 5 bedrooms with Queen or King size bed and 1 room had bunk beds for the littles. 2 Kitchens, 2 Laundry Rooms, 2 dishwashers, well stocked kitchen and 5 bathrooms. There were several little things my hubby fixed tightening screws, changing light bulbs and taking care of the hot tub. Our one complaint was the main level floor was so squeaky and walking was amplified downstairs. there was also a outdoor lounge chair that was completely broken. So much to see and do in the area. Deadwood was a hit for all as was Mt. Rushmore. Good restaurant choices. Lewis was excellent! We enjoyed deck and hot tub times the most.

Multi family fun

We had 4 families and everyone fit perfectly! The cabin is gorgeous and they were so helpful. Let us in early and out late! Will be back for sure!

Beautiful!
