Enjoyed the stay. Even though we knew there was no AC, we we're not prepared for the heat of CA. We did adapt though and the pool was great but not well maintained. The hosts were very kind and helpful. I do recommend adding the house number on the gate so you know you are at the right place. If you plan to go to the river, bring something to move the blackberry bushes aside. Overall the family enjoyed our stay and would go back if there was AC.

Summer River Stay

This is the third time staying at this vacation home. One of my absolute favorite places. The house is always clean and in excellent condition. The location is just a few minutes from Willow Creek stores and food options, yet you feel far away from civilization. I did call Vacasa for the gate code to the river and the staff was courteous and prompt. The kitchen is well equipped for all basic cooking, and then some. Having both the pool and river access make this the primary reason I keep choosing this home. The river access is not as maintained as past trips, but we made it there nonetheless. We caught fish and sat in the sun, then enjoyed the time around the pool during the latter parts of the day. There is no WiFi, so it made for quality family time every evening. The perfect getaway!

The house is very nice. The problem we had was that the air conditioner did not work. We tried all possibilities. No. It was very hot.The entrance steps are a bit strange. May I suggest a fix .. That bottom step is concrete. My vision is poor and I tripped because the stairs are wood and coming down it is easy not to see the last step is concrete. It needs to be painted brown like the stairs.

House was immaculately clean and it was lovely to be so close to the river. Only feedback items are the lack of kitchen supplies, no cookie sheet, not ice cream scoop and only 4 spoons. Not critical, but a suggestion to maybe bolster that supply. The second item of feedback was on the yard, it was very overgrown. Being tick season, we were a little nervous about the amount of tall grasses and were therefore reluctant to use any of the yard area.

Pool and views were great. There was no river access unless we were supposed to use the private road with a locked gate. We didn't ask but maybe the property manager has more information. Basic amenities, but no wine opener or coffee (except for decaf) so bring everything you think you might need. It got into the upper 80's and the house stays hot until late at night even with fans and open windows. No AC is communicated, but be prepared. A book with checkout procedures and local amenities would be nice as well. We really enjoyed the pool and there was little light pollution, so nighttime swims are highly recommended!
