Scenic Off-Grid Cabin Campsite with Brookside Setting Near Townshend, Vermont

Discover the gorgeous landscape that surrounds this brookside campsite in the southern mountains of Vermont. Endless hiking, swimming, kayaking, lake, covered bridge and so much more all within a short walk of the campsite. Rustic, remote off grid camping. Pets welcome. Enjoy staying in nature at its best! We do have bugs, spiders, ants, turtles, frogs, Garter snakes etc at camp. Please be aware you will see them from time to time.



The space

This camp is for up to 4 guest. This rustic cabin campsite for a unique camping experience ( no power! Completely off grid) has a 4 season rustic cabin, full size bed, fullsize sleeper sofa, 2 twin upper bunk beds. Wood burning stove for those chilly nights (seasonal-early spring and fall). Camp kitchen with all you will need for campfire cooking. Drinking water. Fire ring with endless camp wood. Outhouse and solar shower (no hot water).



Guest access

Guest parking is at 3700 state forest rd Townshend Vt 05353. By the kayaks. Campsites are only Accessible with a 4-wheel drive and good undercarriage clearance.



Other things to note

This is a rustic camping experience. Everything is off-grid and you will be staying with nature at its best. We do have bugs, ants, spiders etc. We do use natural deterrents to help. But please be aware they are there and you will see them from time to time. AT&T and tmobil are the only cell phone service that works here. Verizon does not work at all.
