About the host

Host profile image
Hi, I’m Sarah! I’m a West Alabama native who loves family, friends, the outdoors, and anything involving the river. When I’m not teaching, working in real estate, or painting, you can usually find me enjoying life on the water. I love hosting because this is one of my favorite places, and I enjoy getting to share it with other people. Come relax, make yourself at home, and enjoy river life for a few days! 🌊

Why they chose this property

What I love most about this area is how easy it is to slow down here. It’s quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by nature, with the river right outside your door. Spend the day on the water, fish from the dock, grill out, sit around the fire pit, or just enjoy your coffee overlooking the river. It feels tucked away from everything, but you’re still close enough to Tuscaloosa when you want to venture out. It’s one of my favorite little corners of West Alabama. 🌊

What makes this property unique

What makes this property special is the setting. Tucked away on the water, it’s a peaceful place where you can slow down and enjoy river life without giving up the comforts of home. Start your morning with coffee overlooking the water, spend the day fishing or relaxing on the dock, fire up the grill for dinner, and end the evening around the fire pit. With plenty of outdoor space, a private dock, and beautiful natural surroundings, it’s perfect for a quiet getaway, family weekend, or home base for a trip to Tuscaloosa. It feels secluded and relaxing, yet you’re still within driving distance of everything Tuscaloosa has to offer. 🌊🔥🚤
