About this property

Wolf Creek Cabin Waterfront/Secluded/Firepit/VA Creeper Trail/South Holston Lake

Welcome to our beautifully renovated cabin nestled on approximately 10 acres and sits on 500 feet of peaceful Wolf Creek in Abingdon, VA. Our cabin sits right where the creek opens into a quiet cove on South Holston Lake, making it the perfect spot to relax, reconnect, and enjoy the great outdoors with family and friends. The cabin features 4 comfortable bedrooms, each with a queen bed (memory foam cooling mattress) and its own TV. There are two bedrooms downstairs with the other two located upstairs. We have 2-1/2 luxury baths. The primary ensuite features a large soaking tub with a luxury shower with several jets and a bench. The tub is separate from the shower. The other full bath is downstairs as well featuring a luxury shower with several jets and a bench. The half bath is upstairs off one of the bedrooms. We have a fully equipped kitchen that has everything you need to cook up family favorites on brand new appliances, granite countertops, and all the pots, pans, and tools you'll need to make mealtime easy and fun. Step out onto the covered front porch that stretches the full length of the cabin. It is complete with plenty of comfy seating, a dining area, and a gas fire pit for cool evenings. It also has two outdoor fans that will keep you cool in the heat. In the yard, you'll find another fire pit by the creek, where you can roast marshmallows, share stories and enjoy the sounds and sights of nature. Keep your eyes open, you may spot a fish, blue herons, ducks, geese, deer, and maybe even a bald eagle soaring overhead. Abingdon is a great small town with plenty to do. There is shopping, restaurants, the Barter Theatre and the Virginia Creeper Trail are always a favorite.

We absolutely love this cabin! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home. The beautiful flower and sweet welcome message waiting for us were such thoughtful touches and truly made our arrival feel extra special. The cabin has everything our family could possibly need and was a place where we can genuinely relax, unwind, and enjoy being together. It’s comfortable, peaceful, and so beautifully cared for.We also have to mention what an absolutely amazing job the hosts have done with the renovations and decorating! The cabin is beautiful, and you can see the thought, care, and attention to detail that went into every space. They have done such a wonderful job keeping the charm and cozy feeling of a cabin while making it feel updated, comfortable, and inviting. Every little detail adds to the experience and makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. We are so grateful for the hospitality, the thoughtful touches, and all the love and care that has clearly been put into this beautiful cabin. We absolutely love it here and are already looking forward to our next visit!

I am a wife of 33 years, a mother of two children, and 4 fur babies. I am a retired teacher who has become a landlord of several long term rental properties, I love to read, sew, spend time with family and friends.

Why they chose this property

We have looked for our second home for a long time. We wanted privacy and near water. We found this property a few years ago, and knew it was for us. We bought it from a family that had lived there since the 1940's. We are the second owners which I thought was amazing.

What makes this property unique

As soon as your enter our home, you will breathe a deep breath and relax... I have decorated with homemade items, and personal items. I have tried to make it comfortable for everyone. You will love visiting Abingdon, The history, the shops, and restaurants are amazing.
