The Accommodation
The high-quality, newly renovated attic apartment with views of the Säntis and the forest features 3 bedrooms: 1 “forest room” with the sounds of a babbling brook and the rustling of the woods (box-spring bed, 1.60 m wide), a room with a view of the Säntis from the bed (1.40 m wide), and a study with a desk, a PC with a large screen, and a single bed with a box-spring mattress. Bathroom with a bathtub, separate toilet, cosy living room, and a fully equipped kitchen with a coffee maker, cappuccino maker, tea kettle and electric kettle, smoothie blender, dishwasher, and a spacious fridge-freezer. In the kitchen, you’ll also find organic coffee, barista-grade oat milk, organic spices, organic olive oil and vinegar, and creative cookbooks for plant-based diets. A small but lovely “getaway” library is also available. The cosy apartment is suitable for people with allergies, as the entire renovation was carried out using eco-friendly materials and the furnishings contain no animal products whatsoever. Only organic cleaning and laundry detergents are used, and electromagnetic pollution is very low. A parking space is included. For guests without a car, the train station is a 5-minute walk away.

Additional important information
Nearby activities: A hiking trail passes right by the house, running alongside a romantic stream with small waterfalls. There is also an interesting ruins trail to explore. The beautiful Thur River is a 4-minute walk away and can be explored along the extensive Thur hiking trail. A bicycle is also available free of charge; a convenient e-bike is available upon request (20 CHF per day). A train station with good connections is a 5-minute walk away.

Day trips: Lake Constance and historic Konstanz are just 20 minutes away. The Appenzell hiking region and the town of St. Gallen are 30 minutes away.
