House at Longbeach lies on the foothills of Chapman's Peak. Yet it's a mere two minutes stroll from the white sands of Noordhoek Beach and it's only a few minutes away from various shops and fine restaurants. From the balcony you can see the Kakapo shipwreck on the beach in the distance. The aparment is on the upper floor and has a unique atmosphere with the cosy characteristics of a beach house. Its high ceilings and numerous windows and glass doors lend it a bright and spacious ambience.

Ceiling lights, TV, Internet, alarmsystem and entrance gate are backed up during loadshedding by an inverter with backup batteries and the electric hob has a gas plate for cooking during loadshedding

The groundfloor with it's own entrance is rented out permanently

Fabulous, well equipped house

Picture Perfect

I really don't know where to start, because everything about this place is 5 star. Ideal location for exploring the whole Cape; just a short walk from the wonderful beach; short drive from nice cafes, bars and restaurants, as well as the supermarket. The house itself is impeccably clean and equipped with all the amenities one needs e.g. adapters. We loved the interior design and especially the fireplace on a stormy day. The garden and pool is wonderful for families with kids. Home away from home. Antje and Thomas are very helpful and welcome you warmly, but at the same time they respect your privacy. Although this was not our first time to the Cape and my best friend lives there, they were still able to provideus with some valuable recommendations. We will hopefully be back.

Prima ligging

Mooi huis op prima locatie. Wandelafstand van zee en restaurants. Vriendelijke gastvrouw. Een derde ligbed aan het zwembad zou wel mogen. Ook werd niet in de advertentie vermeld dat iemand onder het huis woont die via ramen op het zwembad uitkijkt. Als je aan het zwembad ligt weet je dus niet of je bekeken wordt of niet. Geen last van gehad maar zou wel vermeld moeten worden vind ik…

Very comfortable home just minutes walk from stunning beach and right at the end of Chapmans Peak drive. Easy access to the city and the rest of the Cape. Lovely garden with lots of outdoor seating and play options. We had a very happy stay here.

A wonderful home with friendly, kind hosts - a home away from home!

A great base to explore Cape Town and the surrounding areas - Chapmans Peak is stunning. The house is beautiful, we enjoyed our outdoor breakfasts on the wooden large decked balcony and after a long day of adventures to Cape Point, or fun being with the penguins at Boulders, or exploring Table Mountain, it was wonderful to come home and light the log burner and relax with music on and a glass wine whilst we cooked our evening meal. If you don't fancy cooking, there are plenty of great restaurants nearby. Noordhoek beach is beautiful, the colour of the sand and waves is stunning. The absolute best thing about this property are the family who own it and live on the ground floor - Thomas & Antje are so kind and welcoming and really made our visit. We visited at Easter with our young daughters and they even made sure that the Easter Bunny visited our children - it made their day! We would recommend this wonderful home to anyone and will definitely return.

Toller Familienurlaub bei wunderbaren Gastgebern

Wir waren für 10 Tage mit unseren beiden kleinen Kindern im House at Longbeach und haben jeden Tag genossen. Eine saubere und sonnendurchflutete Wohnung mit allem, was man braucht, um sich "at home away from home" zu fühlen: tolle Küche, gute Betten, große Terrassen, sauberer Pool und fußläufig zum Traumstrand. Antje, Thomas und ihre Tochter Anna-Lina haben uns außerdem bestens mit tollen Tipps für die schöne Umgebung und Spielsachen versorgt. Wir können diesen schönen Ort und die wunderbaren Gastgeber nur empfehlen!

A wonderful place to base yourself from for the Western Cape. The house is fantastically located mid-way between Cape Town and Cape Point putting you within excellent striking distance of everything you could want to see (you will need a car of course) - The house itself is a fantastic home from home that has everything you may need on our holiday and is in a wonderful location, just 300m or so off the beach and close to local restaurants & coffee shops. Antje & Thomas (and Annalina) were/are excellent hosts, they gave us great local advice about things to do and places to eat and they made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. We left wishing we'd booked for longer.

Tolle Ferienwohnung für Familien

Wir waren nun schon zum 4. Mal bei Thomas und Antje im House at Longbeach! Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet, mit einer großen offenen Küche und einer sehr schönen Terrasse, auf der wir so gerne den Abend genossen haben. Außerdem ist sie nur ein paar hundert Meter vom wunderschönen Long Beach entfernt. Noordhoek ist ein tolles Reiseziel, vor allem auch für uns als 5-köpfige Familie! Es ist ein super Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die nähere Umgebung (Kapstadt, Kap der guten Hoffnung, Simons Town, Weingüter) und es gibt sehr gute Möglichkeiten zum Essengehen im nahen Farm Village - kindgeeignet mit Spielplatz. Antje und Thomas stehen jederzeit für Fragen und Tipps zur Verfügung! Vielen Dank nochmal! Wir werden wieder kommen!

Home away from home!

House at Longbeach is a lovely house, situated close to the beach, easy excess to Cape Town and surrounding areas. We got a very warm welcome from Antje and she was happy to answer our questions. Nice garden with pool and play area for the kids. The kitchen is very well equiped and the woodburner kept the house warm during the cold winter evenings. We really felt at home!

Wir sind begeistert, kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und danken Antje und Thomas ganz herzlich für den wunderschönen Aufenthalt. Ihr seid tolle Gastgeber, mit offenem Ohr und vielen guten Tipps. Noordhoek ist der ideale Ausgangsort für alle Ausflüge nach Kapstadt und Umgebung. Das Haus im Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und liegt direkt am langen Traumstrand. Was hatten wir vor der Reise für Befürchtungen zum Thema Sicherheit. Unser Fazit. Zu keiner Zeit haben wir uns unsicher gefühlt und empfehlen insbesondere Südafrika "Anfängern" diesen tollen Ort, um Kapstadt zu erobern. Herzliche Grüße nach Kapstadt Die Kölner

Optimaler Familienurlaub

Wir durften hier zwei absolut traumhafte Wochen verbringen. Haus und Umgebung entsprachen zu 100% unseren Erwartungen,sowie der Beschreibung. Die Gastgeber selbst übertrafen diese noch bei Weitem. Gerade auch für Kinder eine unkomplizierte und sichere Umgebung. Viele Sehenswürdigkeiten im Umkreis von 1h gut erreichbar. Insgesamt für uns die perfekte Location!!! Grüsse nach Noordhoek! "Alles ist gut" im House at Longbeach

Wir haben im Oktober 2013 eine Woche in dieser Wohnung verbracht und den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Geschmackvolle Einrichtung, voll ausgestattete Küche, geräumige Terrassse und Balkon, und man läuft nur ein paar Minuten zum grandiosen Strand. Unser Dank gilt den überaus herzlichen Vermietern, die eine sehr ruhige, entspannte Atmosphäre schaffen. Ihre Tipps zu Ausflugszielen und Restaurants waren sehr treffsicher. Man sollte Zeit einplanen, um den schönen Pool und Garten zu geniessen. Insgesamt ein sehr empfehlenswertes Quartier für Menschen mit und ohne Kinder. Peter (50), Stephanie (46) und Rita (8)

Optimaler Startort für Südafrika-Neulinge

Für unsere erste Reise nach Südafrika entschieden wir uns bewusst für diese Wohnung mit ihren positiven Bewertungen, die sämtlich zutreffend sind. Die Vermieter sind optimale Gastgeber, geradezu vorbildhaft, was wir als häufige Ferienhausbucher recht gut beurteilen können. Auch eine sehr späte Ankunft in Kapstadt war kein Problem für beide, die uns ein Taxi aus Noordhoek zum Flughafen schickten und einen Imbiss bereithielten. Ihre Tipps halfen uns als typisch sicherheitsbesorgte Anfänger, uns in diesem Land zurechtzufinden. Übrigens haben wir nach den ersten neun Tagen hier auch auf unserer weiteren Reise, die bis zum Addo-Nationalpark führte, keine gefährliche Situation erlebt. Noordhoek liegt wirklich traumhaft, der Strand ist nah, ziemlich leer und wunderschön. Auch die Lage zwischen Kapstadt und dem Kap ist optimal und in neun Tagen konnten wir nur einen Teil der vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten erkunden. Unbedingt zu empfehlen ist dabei eine Fahrt zum weniger bekannten Olifantbos im Kap- Nationalpark mit seiner herausragenden landschaftlichen Schönheit. Noordhoek bot uns zudem Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, nicht nur im tollen Farm Village, wie wir sie auf der weiteren Reise kaum mehr antrafen. Nach unseren Unternehmungen kehrten wir immer gerne zu dieser angenehmen Unterkunft zurück, die uns in dieser Zeit eine kleine Heimat wurde, was diesen netten Gastgebern zu verdanken ist.

Fantastic Location

You couldn't get a better location - walking distance to the beach. Noordhoek itself is also a great family holiday destination with lots of kid friendly activities. The property has a lovely big kitchen and living area, and 2 good size bedrooms. All decor is of a high standard and your every need has been thought of...we even got a bottle of wine when we arrived! The property owners were on hand when we had questions and were very friendly and approachable. Would definitely recommend this accomodation to anyone who wants to see more of a beautiful part of Cape Town.

Traumhaftes Ferienhaus, perfekte Gastgeber!

Wir haben eine wunderschöne Woche in einem kleinen Paradies verbracht: eine geschmackvoll eingerichtete Ferienwohnung, die keine Wünsche offen lässt, ein idyllischer Garten mit Pool, die sympathischen Gastgeber Antje und Thomas, die einem mit Rat und Tat zur Seite stehen, der Strand in nur wenigen Gehminuten fast vor der Haustüre .... Schade, dass wir nur eine Woche da waren und aufgrund der vielen Sightseeingmöglichkeiten in unmittelbarer Nähe zu wenig dazu gekommen sind, dieses Traumhaus zu genießen ... Da bleibt uns nur eines übrig: Das nächste Mal länger wiederkommen (und da wir die wichtigsten Sightseeings bereits hinter uns haben, können wir dann auch das Haus, den Garten, Pool und Strand richtig genießen ...)!! Liebe Antje, lieber Thomas, vielen Dank für die tolle Woche! Simon redet bis heute ständig von der ersten Woche in Südafrika, die ihm besonders bei Euch gefallen hat! Blissful!

We just returned from five days at The House in Long Beach. Thomas and Antje are gracious hosts and had everything prepared for us. The property was very clean and well maintained. Thomas was quick to help us solve any questions we had. I loved that the kitchen was so nicely fitted - even a dishwasher so we didn't spend all our holiday washing up! This house is walking distance from Long Beach and quiet walks. Food shopping easily done at the local Pic N Pay - with loads of fresh fruits and veggies. The house is a perfect launching point for any activities on the Cape. We highly recommend this house for a wonderful holiday. Our problem was we did not have time to stay longer!

Fantastische Unterkunft

Eine wunderschöne Woche durften wir bei Antje und Thomas, die uns liebevoll als Gastgeber betreut haben, verbringen. Wir wurden mit Wein und einem Obstkorb empfangen. Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig, hochwertig und geschmackvoll ausgestattet und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Von dem umlaufenden großen Balkon hat man einen wunderschönen Blick in den liebevoll angelegten Garten und auf den kilometerlangen Strand, der fußläufig in wenigen Minuten zu erreichen ist. Das Haus und die Umgebung bieten alle Voraussetzungen für einen perfekten Urlaub. Leider konnten wir nur eine Woche hier bleiben !

Ihr Lieben, wir kamen am 09.03.12 an,und Ihr habt uns sehr herzlich mit Hund und Katze empfangen so dass wir uns direkt wie zu Hause fühlten,denn Ihr habt im Internet nicht zuviel versprochen. Die Angaben waren sehr korrekt und die Ferienwohnung machte einen sehr guten und gepflegten Eindruck und auch bei der Qualität der Bettwäsche und Handtüchern spiegelte sich dieser Eindruck wieder. Es waren zwei sehr schöne Urlaubswochen und was will man mehr, als ein Urlaubsdomizil mit sehr guter Anbindung zu den Weinbauregionen wie Stellenbosch, zu empfehlen ist auf jeden Fall Delheim, das unserer Meinung nach das Beste ist.Mit dem Besten Wein und einer grandiosen Wohlfühlatmosphäre!, oder der Gardenrout .Und ganz wichtig,für all abendlichen Spaziergänge ist der Strand direkt vor der Tür! Als wir dann mal nicht wussten wo wir am Abend Essen gehen sollten,hatten wir sehr gutes und detailliertes Infomaterial in der Wohnung liegen über Restaurants , Sehenswürdigkeiten und Ausflugszielen,welche auch selbst von ihnen getestet worden waren. Die Möglichkeit zu haben in der Sonne zu sitzen oder im Schatten oder im Garten oder einfach nur in der Hängematte war super und dadurch das wir in der 1.Etage waren,ging die Aussicht weit ins Land und Richtung Meer. Wir kommen gerne wieder,nur dann im afrikanischen Sommer! Euch beiden ein ganz herzliches Dankeschön für den schönen Urlaub und wir werden oft an Euch denken und von Euch erzählen,und fühlen uns in unserer Liebe zu Afrika noch mehr gestärkt. Zu Gast Bei "Freunden"

Zum Ende unser 3-wöchigen Südafrikareise haben wir dieses Ferienhaus für 5 Tage Kaphalbinsel / Weinland und Kapstadt gewählt. (4Erw. 2 Kinder 2 u. 6. Jahre) Von den Vermietern Antje und Thomas wurden wir herzlich wie Freunde im Empfang genommen. Selbst der Kühlschrank war schon mit einigen Leckerein und einer Flasche kühlen Wein gefüllt. Das Haus ist sehr komfortabel und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, es fehlt an nichts. Im Garten gibt es einen schönen Pool mit Grillplatz und einen kleinen Spielplatz für die Kleinen. Die Lage ist Ideal für Kapstadt und Kaphalbinsel alles kurze Wege und man kann schöne Ausflüge machen aber auch zum Relaxen ist der nahe Longbeach nur wenige Schritte vom Haus entfernt. Antje und Thomas die Gastgeber sind sehr hilfsbereit und geben gern Ratschläge und Tips. So haben wir 5 wunderschöne Tage erlebt und kommen bestimmt wieder. Von uns gibt es 5 Sterne ...
