We truly appreciate your feedback, Paul. It sounds like you enjoyed the beautiful outdoor space and the convenience of our location, which is perfect for exploring both Langley and Freeland. The private beach is indeed a gem for those who love to hunt for sea glass and sand dollars.
We’re glad you found the home comfortable and that the amenities, like the jetted tub and the well-equipped kitchen, added to your experience. It’s always our goal to provide a cozy retreat where guests can unwind and enjoy their time away.
We hope to welcome you back for another restorative stay soon, perhaps to enjoy more of those lovely evenings on the wrap-around deck.
NEVER GOT INSIDE. Spent more than an hour exchanging messages with somebody at Vacasa about the nonfunctional code lock. Did everything they told me to, but as it got colder and darker, I gave up. Cost me two ferry rides to find a hotel on the mainland with a vacancy. Now I’m going to have to fight to get my money back from Vacasa. Also — if you want to try this spot, which is an undeniably lovely location, plan to arrive well before dark, because there’s no address. I wound up setting my GPS to My Brown Wren, a nearby business, then turning around to get to the bright red house up on the hill.
It's small, but cute. Super clean. We loved the neighborhood and being able to walk down to the beach. It's very bright in the morning because there are no shades in the upper windows, so if you like to sleep in, it's tough. Also, I think the owners should consider buying a larger TV. It's very small, a little tough to watch from the bed. Small nits though, because overall we liked it very much.
aThis property had used condom in packaging not cleaned from the room. Carpenter Ants were present and all the outside furniture was filthy. I’d never stay here again. Stay at a hotel or Inn in town. Well worth the cost of staying here. Communications were from what appears to be a BOT. Couldn’t get a straight answer until I repeatedly voiced concerns about health concerns at the property. Finally after my stay was completed did I finally speak to a live person.
The house is nice, clean, modern in a wonderful location. Washer and dryer were very helpful. However it has issues with kitchen. You need to bring your own coffee cups, wine glasses, coffee filters and you need to check kitchenware carefully when planning to cook dinner. There wasn’t sufficient dinnerware even for 4. TV was way too small to watch it and the queen size bed had only 1 nightstand. Also it takes getting used to a 10 digit code you need to key in every time you enter the house. This place is run by a management company. We reported some of the issues (I.e. lack of useable coffee cups) but the company did absolutely nothing about it. Something to consider before you rent.
We had a great time staying here with our dog! There were deer in the backyard and we could see the water from the front porch, just a beautiful and relaxing experience. The kitchen was nicely stocked and we were very comfortable. Truly a great place to stay!
It was a great place for a quiet retreat over Thanksgiving weekend. Good location and well furnished, just as portrayed on the website. Only problem was that heat in bathroom did not work too well.

Great Quiet and Peaceful spot in Whidbey Island
We absolutely loved this spacious and beautiful home on the island. It had everything that we needed. We really appreciated the comfortable bed, washer and dryer since we’re on a three week trip, the wide covered porch with the water view, and the quiet of the neighborhood. The deer visiting us every morning and night was a bonus!
