Spacious, cozy attic apartment with mountain views on 1.5 floors

The ancient, formerly agricultural building is located in Berg OTAufhausen on the old path from Starnberg to Wolfratshausen. A purely ecologically modern apartment has lovingly grown into the existing pine beams and is particularly tailored to families. The windows show a clear view to the east, south and west. In addition to a spacious living area with kitchen, seating area, fireplace, sofa area and roof loggia, the apartment offers a low (1.75m) roof peak with mountain hut flair and an unheated play room with table football, mini billiards and bouldering wall for children in the barn. For cloudy days there are streaming TV (Disney+, Netflix, Prime, ...) and a small sauna . The bathroom has a large bathtub for two people, a shower, a urinal and a small washing machine and dryer. The kitchen has a dishwasher, an oven with steam cooking, a microwave and an electric dome grill on the weather-protected, Bavarian balcony. To eat out there is the good inn „Post“ with a beer garden and an excellent mountain scenery. Shopping is particularly good up in the village near the church: there is a small supermarket, a fruit and vegetable dealer, a bakery, a village butcher, an award-winning fish shop, a drugstore, a stationery store and a hairdresser. Further down in the neighboring town, a café, an ice cream parlor and a pharmacy are open for you. Nearby is the picturesque Lake Starnberg (to go swimming, steamboat rides, museum visits) , and the 5-lakes-region „Fünfseenland“, which is popular for hiking and cycling. With public transport (X970) you can go directly from your front door every 20 minutes to the foothills of the Alps or - under an hour - with the S-Bahn S6 & S7 to the center of Munich (by car it takes approx. 30 minutes).

This was a really nice place for us to stay - we stayed with 2 grandparents, us and 2 kids. The host was nice and responsive. The place was clean and modern, and it had all the amenities, even a soda stream, and few coffee making options, and some emergency food stash and cooking oil. It’s a ways from Munich but there is a bus that comes almost to the front door. It’s close to Starnberg Lake, which is a fun place to go, and it makes getting to the mountains easier. There is a walkable grocery store, bakery and restaurant, too. The place was modern and spacious. The loft area did have fairly low ceilings and is great for kids, but adults must bend over a bit. I knew this was an upper unit, but there are two flights to the main entry and one more to the loft.

Tolle Ferienwohnung, hervorragende Ausstattung und sehr nette Vermieter

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Ferienwohnung ist in top Zustand und mehr als überdurchschnittlich ausgestattet. Sogar Lebensmittel des täglichen Bedarfs waren verfügbar! Außerdem ist an viele Details gedacht (Fliegenschutzgitter, Klimaanlage, indirekte Beleuchtung etc). Einzig die Nähe zur Straße und den damit verbundenen Autoverkehr könnte man etwas bemängeln, aber es war noch ok.Insgesamt eine wirklich tolle Unterkunft!Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Sehr schöne Wohnung und sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in der Wohnung sehr genossen, konnten ausspannen aber auch die wunderschöne Umgebung erkunden. Der Starnberger See ist fussläufig zu erreichen.Die Wohnung war sehr gut ausgestattet, großzügig und sehr ansprechend eingerichtet. Der etwas niedrige Dachboden mit zwei Matrazen als Betten ist nur für kleine Menschen geeignet und könnte noch ein wenig Mobiliar oder einen Teppich zum rundum Wohlfühlen vertragen. Ansonsten war alles klasse; wir würden immer wieder kommen.

Unsere Zeit in der großzügigen und gemütlichen Dachwohnung von Familie Güllich war einfach traumhaft. Die Wohnung ist ein echtes Juwel – eine perfekte Kombination aus traditionellem Charme und modernem Komfort. Das historische Gebäude wurde mit viel Liebe zum Detail in eine wunderschöne, familienfreundliche Unterkunft verwandelt.Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Gastfreundschaft der Familie Güllich. Vom ersten Moment an haben wir uns herzlich willkommen gefühlt. Die Gastgeber waren jederzeit ansprechbar und haben uns mit Tipps und Ratschlägen versorgt. Man spürt, dass sie mit viel Herzblut dabei sind, ihren Gästen einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen. Unser Empfang war sehr freundlich und wir durften die Wohnung auch schon viel früher beziehen als angegeben. Die Wohnung ist auch perfekt für Familien mit kleineren Kindern weil einfach so viel Platz ist und so viel Möglichkeiten zum Spielen innerhalb der Wohnung. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit hier und kommen gerne wieder wenn’s Richtung München geht 😘

Super. Die Wohnung ist genauso wie beschrieben. Sauber, nett eingerichtet und ruhig. Die ganze Familie hat sich wohl gefühlt. Für uns wäre (4 Personen) vielleicht ein zweites WC wünschenswert. Außerdem hat man kurze Wege zum Bäcker, Metzger, Edeka und zum Restaurant. Gute Ausgangslage zum Wandern oder einem Trip nach München.

Oktoberurlaub mit Familie

Wir waren zu 6. in der sehr schönen Ferienwohnung der Familie Güllich. Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, man hat Altes mit Neuem verbunden und dies sehr geschmackvoll. Die Küche ist gut bestückt, die Stube hat einen großen Fernseher, die Toilette ist getrennt vom tollem Bad (sehr angenehm bei vielen Leuten), ein gemütliches Schlafzimmer und nicht zu vergessen das "Heidizimmer" im Dachgeschoß (echt toll). Man kann die Sauna nutzen und es gibt einen Kaminofen, der sogar schon feuerfertig präpariert war. Familie Güllich war äußerst nett und zuvorkommend. Wir können diese Unterkunft nur empfehlen. Lage super zwischen Starnberger See und München. Netter Gastgeber und problemloser Check-in da Gastgeber im Haus wohnt. Stielvoll neu eingerichtete Dachgeschosswohnung mit Klimagerät im Wohnzimmer. Großzügiger Spielbereich für Klein und Groß im Treppenhaus. Können die Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen.

Kurzurlaub

Alles super. Eine kleine Ecke außerhalb der Wohnung, zum Grillen oder mit der Familie sitzen wäre eine feine Erweiterung und würde gerade Familien mit Kleinkindern besonders ansprechen. Die Wohnung ist auf jedenfall super schön.
