The popular GOETHE49 holiday home is located in the idyllic Aach Valley and offers plenty of space for up to 5 people. Enjoy an eventful yet relaxing stay between Lake Constance and the Hegau Mountains, not far from the city of Konstanz and the Swiss border.

The GOETHE49 holiday home is located in a quiet residential area in the peaceful town of Worblingen. You’ll reach the holiday home’s separate entrance via our beautiful courtyard.

This spacious, single-story holiday home—85 square metres and largely barrier-free—features a large kitchen-diner, a separate bedroom, a spacious living room, a bathroom, and an additional guest bathroom.

The large and cosy kitchen-dining area, with its casual seating area and view of the courtyard, invites you to relax, enjoy a meal, and linger. The kitchen itself is fully equipped with high-quality appliances and should leave nothing to be desired. If it does, just let us know.

The five sleeping spots are distributed between the separate bedroom and the living room.

Up to three beds can be used in the bedroom. There is a large, cosy double bed (180 cm x 200 cm), and if needed, a sleeper chair with a separate mattress can be used as a comfortable extra bed (80 cm x 190 cm). As an alternative to the extra bed, a closed-side cot can also be provided. A large closet offers plenty of storage space for clothes and suitcases.

In the living room, with its wood-burning stove, you can gather in the seating area to eat or play games together, and the cosy sofa invites you to relax. In addition to standard TV channels, the smart TV offers Netflix, YouTube, and other services. A selection of books, magazines, and board games is also available.

Thanks to the separate, spacious kitchen, using the living room as a bedroom is no problem. Here, two additional sleeping spots are available, as the sofa can be converted into a large double bed. The 150 cm x 200 cm sleeping surface can be fitted with an additional mattress topper, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. During the day, the mattress and bedding can be stowed away in the sofa’s storage compartment. The living room also features an additional closet and more storage space, so you can easily store your belongings.

From the cosy living room, you can also access the covered terrace and the garden. You’ll have complete privacy on the spacious terrace. Outdoor furniture and a grill are provided for your use. The garden and its play facilities (trampoline, sandpit, play kitchen, playhouse, and ping-pong table) are welcome to be used by prior arrangement.

The attractive, naturally lit bathroom features a walk-in shower, toilet, and sink.
A washing machine and everything else needed for laundry are available in the separate guest bathroom.

The distance from the accommodation to the nearest beaches and swimming spots on Lake Constance is 7 km. The most convenient way to reach them is by car in about 10 minutes. Our accommodation is also an ideal starting point for day trips to destinations such as Mainau Flower Island, Reichenau Island (a World Heritage Site), the Rhine Falls in Schaffhausen, and the beautiful Lake Constance towns of Konstanz, Radolfzell, and Stein am Rhein. Active holidaymakers have Lake Constance right on their doorstep for all kinds of water activities; beautiful bike rides are possible in every direction, and our local mountain, the “Schienerberg,” offers beginner-friendly mountain bike trails. One of the most beautiful sauna facilities right on Lake Constance is just 11 km from the accommodation. In case of bad weather, the Lake Constance thermal baths in Konstanz and Überlingen are easily accessible by car for a fun day of swimming with the kids. Other great places to visit with kids include, for example, the Campus Galli monastery construction site, the Rheutmühle petting zoo, the Affenberg in Salem, Sea Life Konstanz, and much more.
