Disliked: Check-in, communication, listing accuracy
This apartment is missing A LOT of things that usually other rental properties have. I was born and raised in the area and I’ve been renting apartments in the Lignano for decades. HERE there is no internet, no hairdryer, no microwave, no towels, no cleaning supplies, no salt and pepper, sugar, olive oil or other condiments, no hand soap or dish soap, not even a roll of toilet paper or paper towel… NOTHING! That is all stuff that it’s provided by any other apartment I’ve been because NO ONE on vacation is going to travel with it or buy it to leave it behind.
They didn’t even provide blankets for all beds (only 2 out of 5 beds).
The air conditioning it’s placed in the balcony!!! There is no way that it can cool down the apartment when it’s place there! We don’t even have hot water in the kitchen! The apartment it’s also very dusty and not properly cleaned. Plus I never received the email with instructions for getting the keys and I ended up waiting 1h outside with 3 young kids!! None of the phone numbers provided was working and only after 1h I was finally reach out someone in Italy. On the listing it says that we can check in at 3pm (FALSE cause the office where I’m supposed to pick up the keys doesn’t open until 3:30pm) and that checkout is at 11am (FALSE because check out it’s between 9 and 10am). The Italian agency was amazing helping out, but Expedia and the company owner of the apartment were absolutely terrible!! Only the location was absolutely perfect!
