This historic cottage was the perfect place to relax & check out and check in with our family & the surrounding beauty. The beds are so comfortable, coffee makers(s) amazing and the puzzles, seals, deck chairs, herons & eagles brought much joy. Hope to be back soon.

Amazing place the view is absolutely tremendous. Neighborhood is so nice, we spent the days walking the beach and the neighborhood. Close to a great park and has all the things you could ask for. Highly recommend

Great view. The property was clean and tidy. A bit rougher than I anticipated. However it is built with reclaimed materials and started life as a fishing shack in the 1940’s. I think a few updates/upgrades are in order in kitchen and bathroom. We did have a great time and you are right on the water. Beautiful sunrises. We lucked out and saw a pod of Orcas. There are plenty of outlets for chargers etc…Overall, rough but clean.. and worth the money.

We loved our stay at this historic cottage. The location is spectacular. The view from the living room and back porch area is wonderful. You are on the water! We found the furnishings and house so unique and special. House is clean and had everything we needed. Beds are comfortable and cozy. We are a family of four (two adults, two teens) and had plenty of space. The house is very private and quiet. We enjoyed the puzzles and eclectic book collection. We also loved Bainbridge Island: restaurants, ice cream, renting kayaks from Exotic Aquatics at Eagle Harbor, finding the Pia the Peacekeeper sculpture, visiting the Japanese American Exclusion Memorial. We took the ferry to Seattle for one day to explore the city and see a Mariners game. We spent one day at Mount Rainier National Park and one day at Olympic National Park. We took our time in the mornings, because the cottage was so lovely, and we looked forward to coming home in the evenings to the beautiful water view. Thank you for sharing this special place! We would love to return some day.

I absolutely loved this place. Waking up in a cosy double bed to the sound of the water lapping at the shore, and the sun rising over the sounds was just beautiful. The house is charming, sparkling clean, and cosy with absolutely everything you could need. The island is stunningly beautiful, close to lots of good food and great wine and Bainbridge Yoga House. Thanks for having me. I’ll definitely be back

For the most part the property is as described - rustic. However, there is not a 3rd bedroom. There is a bed in an open area off the living room. The bed faces the sliding glass door which does not have a covering so you are woken very early. It would behoove the owner to add an accordion door. The bed is also next to the bathroom so you hear every time someone uses the bathroom in the middle of the night. Know the city has permitted for 1 parking space, not 2 as advertised. The beds, bed linens and towels were very nice and comfortable. The living room furniture is Hodge podge and uncomfortable. The kitchen counter top has an unsightly tear and the cabinet doors do not close properly. The kitchen is more a kitchenette. Bainbridge itself is beautiful. The location of this house to town and parks was ideal for us but you do need a car.

The location was great and sitting in the patio watching the sea lions in the morning is magical and the views at night are soothing. Super quiet here too

Location, location, location! What did we see here? Mt. Rainier from the back deck/porch, a beautiful full moon rising over Puget Sound, seals swimming by every morning and evening, an eagle perched on the edge of its nest a one minute walk down the road. We loved this place for its homey, relaxing vibe!
