The "Meeresrauschen" holiday rental in Haus Windrose is located in a small apartment complex. It’s idyllically situated on the southern tip of Rügen, between the Baltic Sea and the Greifswald Bodden. Thiessow is a small, sleepy village with several restaurants, a fishing and sailing harbour, and a small supermarket with a bakery. You’ll find peace and relaxation on hikes around the southern tip of Rügen or during a visit to the pilot tower—all within walking distance. You can hear the sound of the sea even before you step outside the house. After walking about 100 metres through a small wooded area, you’ll reach the wide, white Baltic Sea beach, from where you can access Rügen’s extensive network of bike paths and hiking trails. During the summer months, the famous Rügen Market, featuring regional products, is particularly popular at the Thiessow harbour.



Haus Windrose, Apartment 10: Sound of the Sea with Balcony:

This bright and welcoming, approximately 40 m² non-smoking holiday apartment is located on the 2nd floor of Haus Windrose and accommodates up to 2 to 3 adults. It features a view of the exposed beams extending all the way to the roof ridge. Through the large panoramic window, you can enjoy a view of Thiessow and a small grove. A small entryway with a coat rack leads to the open-concept living and dining area with a kitchenette, which is equipped with a refrigerator with a freezer compartment, a 4 -zone ceramic cooktop, an oven, a dishwasher, a microwave, and various kitchen utensils such as a coffee maker, electric kettle, toaster, hand mixer, etc. A dining table with chairs is adjacent to the kitchenette. A lowboard with a smart TV, Blu-ray player, and mini stereo system, as well as a couch that can be converted into a bed for a third person in just a few simple steps (1.40 m x 2.00 m), a coffee table, a recliner, and a reading lamp define the living area. From here, you can access the large, covered balcony (south/west) with seating and a screen door. You won’t have to go without an internet connection (Wi-Fi) even while on holiday—it’s included for you. An adjoining bedroom with a closet and a double bed (1.60 m x 2.00 m) featuring 7-zone cold-foam mattresses and bedside tables ensures peace and relaxation. A modern bathroom with a walk-in shower, towel warmer, sink, makeup mirror, hair dryer, toilet, and washing machine leaves nothing to be desired. Underfloor heating in all rooms ensures a pleasant warmth. Pets are not allowed. In the well-maintained outdoor area, a lockable bike shed (No. 10) belonging to the apartment is available for your own or rented bicycles. You can wind down at the end of your day at the shared barbecue area with seating. A parking space (No. 10) is included. You can book an initial linen package (complete set of bed linens, 1 shower towel, 2 small hand towels) for an additional fee up to 14 days before arrival, or supplement it with your own linens. If you book 2 or more packages, you’ll receive 1 tea towel and 1 shower mat as a one-time bonus.
