The Cottage on Boundary is perfectly situated in downtown on Aiken’s iconic S Boundary Drive. Located near Bruce’s Field, The Cottage is perfectly located for equestrians. Whether you’re traveling to Aiken for an equestrian event, attending one of our many festivals, getting together with family and friends, or traveling for business, The Cottage on Boundary checks all the boxes. This recently renovated historic cottage offers a beautifully decorated living room, dining room, two cozy bedrooms featuring a king bed and a queen bed, and a cozy den, guests find plenty of space to relax.

High speed internet service enables the den/study the ideal space for guests needing a place to work, read, or even nap on the chaise. In a pinch, the den could serve as a 3rd bedroom for kids to camp out on an air mattress. Both bathrooms offer a shower, and one bathroom has a combination tub/shower making it easy to refresh after a day of exploring. Both bathrooms feature plush towels, shampoo/conditioner, shower gel, 2 hair dryers, a flat iron, curling iron, and the usual beauty disposables.

Inside, newly upgraded heating and AC keep the atmosphere pleasant year-round and the on demand hot water system allows all guests to enjoy a hot shower. The kitchen is small but might! Fully equipped with Viking appliances, air fryer, blender, crockpot, Kitchen-aide stand mixer, stainless steel cookware, and more. Our coffee bar includes a Nespresso machine as well as a traditional drip coffee machine (coffee & pods provided) along with sugar, creamer, tea and honey. Travel cups are available to take your coffee on the go. The dining room seats 4 with a credenza offering glassware, ice bucket, and necessary bar ware to create your favorite cocktail.

Outside, the entire home is fenced including a gate for the driveway. The driveway is large enough to park 4 cars or a horse trailer! The backyard offers a large pergola covered patio with comfortable outdoor seating, a gas grill, and a small screened gazebo.

Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm until 7:30 am.
Smoking of any kind is only permitted outside on the bench. Never discard used cigarettes in the grass or flower beds!
Guests who leave used cigarettes/cigars anywhere but the outside trash bin will incur a $150.00 fee.

The cottage was spotless, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. What really stood out was the attention to the little details. It felt as though the hosts had actually thought about what a guest might need during their stay, including those small things you inevitably forget to pack or need unexpectedly. Unlike some rentals that feel a little bare, the cottage was thoughtfully stocked without feeling cluttered. The location was convenient to downtown Aiken and the horse district while still feeling quiet and residential. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely stay here again.
