Misleading description

The description on vrbo does not clarifiy that it has a shared bathroom and shared kitchen with 4 other bedrooms. Although the bedroom was recently renovated, it smells terrible. It says modern apartment and it is not. It is a floor with 4 different bedrooms that share bathroom and kitchen. Bed was a very bad mattress. There were blinds not installed, just laying on the floor so sun comes into the room at 4am. On the positive side, owner replied very fast.

First of all, I would like to apologize for the inconvenience. But at the same time I would like to thank you for the criticism, because this is the only way I can be discovered and eliminated. Unfortunately, the craftsmen had forgotten to install the roller blind. I would like to apologize separately for this. The smell has now been eliminated and was caused by a paint color during the renovation. Due to the European Championships, this room was perhaps offered a little too early; all problems have now been remedied and personally inspected. You are welcome to see for yourself at your next overnight stay. Of course, I will activate the access codes at your request completely free of charge as compensation.

Absolut NICHT zu empfehlen!

Leider entsprach die Ferienwohnung nicht unseren Erwartungen. Der Check-in per Code war unzuverlässig, und wir mussten uns teilweise Zugang über Nachbarn oder das benachbarte Büro verschaffen. Die Anzeige war irreführend, da es sich um ein Zimmer in einer Ferienwohnung handelt, die mit bis zu vier anderen Gästen geteilt wird, inklusive Gemeinschaftsbädern. Unser Zimmer war unvollständig renoviert; kaputte Fußleisten, eine stark abgenutzte Matratze und unbezugte Kissen waren inakzeptabel. Die Sauberkeit ließ zu wünschen übrig – Haare in der Dusche und stark riechende Handtücher waren unzumutbar. Die Lärmbelästigung durch Straßenbahnen und laute Passanten machte das Schlafen bei offenem Fenster unmöglich. Zudem bot die dünne Zimmertür keinerlei akustische Isolierung, sodass jegliche Aktivitäten der anderen Bewohner unüberhörbar waren. Die Umgebung war unsicher, mit vielen Obdachlosen und zwielichtigen Gestalten, was unser Sicherheitsgefühl stark beeinträchtigte. Insgesamt entsprach die Unterkunft in keiner Weise unseren Vorstellungen und war sehr enttäuschend.

Unterkunft war recht sauber. Allerdings war die Gegend nicht wirklich gut. Leider war auch nirgends ersichtlich dass man sich mit 2 anderen Personen in der Wohnung befindet.
