Chalet Walker is located in Riederalp West between the Riederfurka and Hohfluh lifts. From the valley, you can take the Riederalp West gondola and then walk uphill for 10 minutes to reach the chalet.<br><br>The chalet is right on the slopes. This means you can head out on your skis first thing in the morning and ski right back to the door in the afternoon.<br><br>In the summer, hikes and mountain bike tours can be started in all directions. There are many options to choose from: up to the Riederhorn, to the suspension bridge, into the Aletsch Forest, or towards Riederalp Centre / Bettmeralp / Fiesch.<br><br>There is a supermarket (Olympia-Shopping) at the Riederalp-West gondola station. Fresh rolls from the bakery are available there in the morning. The village also has a Coop at the top station of the main gondola (Riederalp Mitte).<br><br>In winter, you can go shopping on skis. Lift tickets can be purchased at the Hohfluh Lift or online. At the Riederalp West top station, there is a sports shop (Aletsch-Sport) where you can rent skis and snowboards.<br><br>The 3-room apartment features 2 bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with 2 single beds), a living room, a well-equipped kitchen with a corner bench, a glass-ceramic cooktop, and a dishwasher, as well as a modern bathroom with a shower. A small outdoor space can be used as a storage area.
