This beautiful spa town looks back on a 4,000-year history of settlement, which is closely linked to the extraction of salt from brine. Since the mid-19th century, the town has been known as a spa and holiday destination; it has borne the name “Bad” since 1890, and in 1899 it was awarded the title of “Royal Bavarian State Spa.” A highlight is the Kurgarten, a beautiful park designed in 1868 by the Royal Bavarian Court Gardener Carl von Effner. It is still considered one of the most beautiful parks of its kind in Central Europe. It invites you to linger and relax. Parking is subject to a fee from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Loading and unloading is possible right in front of the door.
Welcome to our cosy and fully equipped holiday home! This house features underfloor heating that can be individually controlled in every room. The floors are finished with real wood parquet, with the exception of the bathroom. On the ground floor, you’ll find a modern built-in kitchen with a dishwasher, oven, and fridge-freezer. The living room features a comfortable 3-seater box-spring couch. From here, you can step out onto the beautiful wooden deck, which is furnished with a table, chairs, and sun loungers. There is a flat-screen TV in both the living room and the bedroom. On the ground floor is the bathroom, featuring a walk-in rain shower, handheld showerhead, toilet, sink, and hair dryer. The bedroom features a cosy box-spring bed (180x200 cm) and a small balcony with a magnificent mountain view, from which you can even see the Predigtstuhlbahn.
