When you stay with us, you’ll be right in the heart of Bensersiel. The “Nordseetherme” swimming and wellness complex—a modern, heated water park and recreation centre—is located very close by. It also houses all the spa facilities, as well as a modern wellness, sauna, and fitness centre. At the “Nordseetherme,” you can really pamper yourself.

The beach facilities are just a few minutes’ walk away. You can also easily reach all the other attractions Bensersiel has to offer on foot in just a short time.

For your evening stroll in the “Lower Saxony Wadden Sea National Park” on the North Sea, you can walk directly across the dike—a short walk of less than five minutes. Then just take a short stroll—or even spend a few hours there—and enjoy the sunset over the Wadden Sea.

Adjacent to the “Nordseetherme” mentioned earlier—almost right next door—is the spa park, through which you can walk past the harbour to the beach facilities.

When you reach the Bensersiel beach facilities, you’ll find the beach itself, complete with an adventure playground and the “Kunterbunt” children’s centre. In addition, the beach features the new beach portal with “Bennis Abenteuerland,” a covered beach area for children. There’s also the seawater wave pool with a giant slide, the maritime sports theme park, the circus tent for children and various events, as well as many more ideas to make the most of your holiday.

You’ll also find plenty of shops—for example, in the Deichpassage—as well as restaurants and cafés along your way to the beach. Very close to Bensersiel lies Esens, the “living room” of the “Harlingerland” region. You can reach Esens by car in about five minutes. The best way to get there is by bike, riding through the marshlands along the “Hammerweg” or along the idyllic “Kajedeich” by the “Benser Tief.” Wonderful tours await you.

Bensersiel’s fantastic offerings are complemented by the over 475-year-old knight’s town of Esens, with its historically developed town centre. Here you’ll find a wide variety of events—both large and small—as well as museums, dining options, and shopping opportunities.
