Take advantage of the perfect location for excursions to the North Sea island of Heligoland or to Neuwerk. Here, you'll be spoiled for choice: Take the ferry over and walk back through the mudflats? Or take a horse-drawn carriage ride to the small island. Alternatively, the nearby Duhner Heide nature reserve, nestled between the heathland and marshland, offers a diverse landscape with charming hiking trails.

Current information: Construction work on the North Sea Lagoon is being delayed. The reopening is not expected until October 31, 2024. The play barn will remain unaffected and will remain open as usual.
