The nearby Vilzsee with its sandy beach and beautiful bathing area offers plenty of opportunities for lots of leisure and bathing fun.

Spend wonderfully relaxing holidays in the middle of the Mecklenburg Lake District with its vast forests, green meadows and blue lakes with plenty of opportunities for fishing. Mirow is a tranquil small town that is idyllically situated on the edge of the lake of the same name. Strolling through the town, you can visit the romantic castle island with the residential castle, the historic gatehouse and the Johanniterkirche. The Mirow lock on the Müritz-Havel waterway is also worth seeing. Numerous restaurants and cafés in and around Mirow invite you to take a break with coffee and cake or a fresh fish dish.
