Location between Marina and South Beach
Just 750 meters separate you from the fine sandy beach. A short walk and you'll feel the warm sand between your toes. The beach promenade invites you to stroll, while sailboats gently rock in the marina next door.
In the morning, grab fresh rolls and enjoy them on your south-facing balcony overlooking the Fehmarnsund Bridge. The locals affectionately call it the "coat hanger". It's the gateway to the island and a fascinating photo opportunity, especially when the sun bathes it in golden light.
Public barbecue areas at the harbor await convivial evenings. Children can play on the nearby playgrounds or kick a ball on the beach soccer pitches. In Burgstaaken, just 1.3 km away, you'll find the famous submarine museum. The island's many are easily reached by car or bicycle.
Cafés, restaurants and small shops line the area. The new observation tower at the harbor offers spectacular panoramic views. Surf and kite schools as well as pedal boat rentals provide variety on the water. Burg with its shopping facilities is only 3.5 km away.
