Welcome to our “Berghausen am Hennesee Holiday Home”!

Enjoy the unique view of nature and the beautiful Sauerland countryside.

The house is located above the small village of Berghausen, right next to the forest. From your living area, the sunroom, or the patio, you can enjoy the unique view of nature and the beautiful Sauerland countryside.

With 85 square metres of living space, the house offers comfortable accommodation for up to four people. The bedroom is equipped with a large double bed (180 x 200 cm) and a smart TV. In the living room, the large sofa can be converted into a double bed (160 x 200 cm) or two single beds (80 x 200 cm). Of course, there’s a Smart TV here as well. Both sleeping areas are equipped with electric roller shades and can be completely darkened.

The kitchen is fully equipped (dishwasher, glass-ceramic cooktop, microwave, convection oven, refrigerator/freezer, Dolce Gusto coffee maker, toaster, sandwich maker, etc.). The bathroom and dining area feature underfloor heating.

The exterior doors and the main windows are equipped with insect screens.

For the safety of young guests, the staircase leading to the basement is equipped with a stair gate.

The terrace features a large umbrella, a seating area, and a grill. Grilling accessories are also provided.

There is a fire pit on the large lawn. Firewood is provided (while supplies last). The beer tent set provides seating for a cosy evening by the campfire.

The sunroom features a commercial-grade refrigerator capable of cooling even large quantities of drinks if needed.

There is a carport on the property where you can park your bicycles out of the elements. Parking spaces for cars are available on the property and along the path in front of the house.

Of course, you can use the Wi-Fi free of charge around the clock.

Your comfort and satisfaction are very important to us. That’s why our prices already include the usual additional costs (electricity, water, heating, final cleaning, and bed linens and towels).

Looking to relax? Unwind in the sunroom or on the terrace with an unobstructed view of nature, or take leisurely walks around Berghausen and Lake Hennesee while enjoying the view of the beautiful Sauerland landscape.

Would you like to stay active? Start your hikes or bike rides right from your front door, and set off on your motorcycle tours along the winding roads of the Sauerland directly from Berghausen. In winter, the Sauerland’s ski resorts are within easy reach.

Families in particular can enjoy the Berghausen Bucht for their beach holiday. While the kids have fun in the water or at the adventure playground, you can sunbathe on the lawn.

In just about a five-minute walk, you’ll reach Hennesee at Berghausen Bucht. There you’ll find the DLRG-supervised swimming area, the water sports centre, Restaurant H1, and the new, free “Piratenbucht” adventure playground. The boat dock and the dam with the “Himmelstreppe” (Stairway to Heaven) are about a 10-minute walk away. Meschede’s city centre area is easily accessible on foot or by car. There are numerous shopping options there.

The Berghausen holiday home is also a great holiday destination for skiers. The Hunau ski area in Bödefeld, the Winterberg ski circuit, and the Willingen ski area are all within easy driving distance—25 and 45 minutes, respectively.
