Its peaceful location on the southern edge of the Palatinate makes this accommodation an ideal starting point for a relaxing yet active holiday in one of Germany’s most beautiful border regions.
Surrounded by fields, the Rhine floodplains, and the nearby Bienwald forest, Berg offers a natural setting with great recreational value. At the same time, guests benefit from excellent local amenities: A bakery is within walking distance (about 6 minutes), as is a butcher shop right in the town centre. For daily shopping, there’s a Netto supermarket about 2 km away—
The towns of Kandel (approx. 10 km / 10–15 minutes), Wörth am Rhein (approx. 8 km / approx. 10 minutes), and Karlsruhe (25–35 minutes) are also easily accessible.
The location is particularly attractive for active holidaymakers: The Rhine Cycle Route and the German-French Pamina Cycle Route “Lautertal” are just a stone’s throw away, as are the hiking trails in the Bienwald, the Rhine floodplains, and the Palatinate Forest. Trips to Alsace are also possible in just a few minutes—the border with France is practically “just around the corner.”
