Private: natural state property 2'300 m2 with trees, orchard. Stepped path (15 steps) to the house. Shop 4 km, supermarket 10 km, bus stop "Bretenoux - Biars" 9 km, outdoor swimming pool 5 km. Golf course (9 hole) 20 km.
"Freyssignes", 5-room house 95 m2. Beautiful and tasteful furnishings: living/dining room with veranda with open-hearth fireplace (only for decoration), dining table, satellite TV and international TV channels (flat screen), CD-player, hi-fi system and DVD. Exit to the veranda. 2 rooms, each room with 1 french bed (140 cm, length 190 cm). 1 room with 2 beds (90 cm, length 200 cm). Kitchen (2 hot plates, oven, dishwasher, 2 gas rings, toaster, kettle, microwave, electric coffee machine, Capsules for coffee machine (Dolce Gusto) extra) with small dining table. Shower/WC. Oil heating. Terrace furniture, barbecue, deck chairs, box-room. Beautiful panoramic view of the countryside. Facilities: washing machine, iron, children's high chair, baby cot, hair dryer. Internet (WiFi, free). Please note: non-smoking house. Maximum 2 pets/ dogs allowed. Smoke alarm.

ruhiges Haus in den Bergen

Auf der kleinen Straße durch die Berge finden sich immer wieder ein paar Häuser. Eines davon hat eine Terrasse mit Palmen und Seidenakazien davor. Ab und zu fährt auch mal ein Auto vorbei. Die Einrichtung ist etwas betagt, aber es fehlt an nichts. Das Internet ist mit 2Mbit übersichtlich. Die Gasteltern haben mich herzlich empfangen. Wer mit Ihnen im Vorfeld in Kontakt treten möchte, nutzt am besten die angegebene Telefonnummer. Die Nachrichten über diese Seite bleiben irgendwo zwischen Fewodirekt und Interchalet stecken. Mich hat glücklicherweise die bei der Buchung angegebene Anreisezeit gerettet, so das alles funktionierte.

Das Haus ist groß und geräumig...

Das Haus ist groß und geräumig. Gut eingerichtet. Das Badezimmer vielleicht ein wenig klein. Dafür ein großes Ess– und Wohnzimmer. Und dann die Veranda mit einem Blick über die weite Landschaft. Das Haus liegt abgelegen und sehr ruhig. Was kein Nachteil sein muß. Reisetipps: In Beaulieu selbst unbedingt das alte Viertel zur Dordogne hin anschauen. In der Region gibt es eine größere Anzahl von Dörfern, die in der Organisation les plus beaux villages de France sind. Es liegt ein entsprechendes Buch am Kamin, die villages sind unterstrichen. Die nächstgelegenen sind Collogne la rouge und Turenne. Aber auch unbedingt Sarlat besuchen, das darf man nicht versäumen. Ansonsten wäre noch Figeac, Cahors, Congues sowie Rocamadour zu erwähnen. Letzteres ist allerdings nicht für Leute wie mich geeignet, ich leide unter extremen Höhenschwindel, aber für Nichtgeplagte unbedingt anschauen.In Beaulieu gibt es zwei sehr gute Restaurants: Das Hotel/Restaurant le Beaulieu und das Restaurant les flots bleu. Es ist direkt an der Dordogne in der Altstadt gelegen. Und nicht nur sehr gutes französisches Essen auch der Ausblick auf den Fluss, herrlich.
