Beautiful, cosy resort "Le Domaine de Fontenelles", 4 storeys. 13 km from the centre of St. Gilles-Croix-de-Vie, 3 km from the centre of Coex, outside the resort, 14 km from the centre of Bretignolles-sur-Mer, in a sunny position, 13 km from the sea, in the countryside, on the golf course. For shared use: property with plants, meadow, swimming pool (seasonal availability: 27.May. - 17.Sep.). Unconventional pool shape. Children's pool, outdoor shower, boccia, terrace. In the complex: reception, WiFi, lift, washing machine, tumble dryer (for shared use, extra). Bread roll service. Parking (limited number of spaces). Shop 5 km, sandy beach 13 km. Golf course (18 hole) 100 m. Please note: Loading and unloading of baggage is possible at the holiday house. The photograph shows a typical example. Lovely setting but accommodation needs updating.

We were disappointed that the swimming pool was not operational and we discovered it has not been available since 2017. It is not acceptable to advertise a pool which you know is out of action and then advise us a couple of weeks before the holiday. This gives no time to rebook elsewhere. The apartment we were given was nice and tidy but we then discovered that the electric blinds to the balcony from the main living area were not working. We advised the management on our first day but were never repaired. This meant that for five days and four nights we had no privacy and we were on view to the adjacent golf course at all times. This was not acceptable and we didn't even get an apology for the inconvenience to us. The reception area to the building was in a poor state of repair and overall the accommodation is in serious need of updating. It is a shame because the setting is very nice and quiet, the restaurant and bar attached is of high quality. The owners are letting themselves down and holidaymakers deserve a better service.

Bonne location en elle-même. Ménage de la résidence très mal effectué, état de l'ascenseur sale, de plus qu'en cette crise sanitaire, le ménage doit être quand même fait avec vigilance, local poubelles pas propre non plus. L'appartement était bien sauf le couchage canapé-lit, le draps était plein de poussière et sale , nous n'avons pas pu dormir dedans, l'ayant signalé à notre arrivé, aucun remplacement n'a été effectué. Très bruyant au niveau du restaurant du golf. Je ne renouvellerai pas.

Don't be fooled by the photos

This place uses stock photos when listing all their properties, but the actual apartments are a lot more run down than that. Also pool was drained and tennis courts shut.

Dommage que la résidence ait été laissée sans entretien pendant de longues années car le cadre est plutôt sympa. Il serait bon de changer les photos car ce n'est plus du tout dans cet état. La piscine délabrée et non utilisable, les communs envahis par les pigeons et leurs fientes.Malgré quelques travaux en cours cet établissement ne sera jamais prêt pour l'été. En ce qui concerne l'appartement, vieillissant mais qui pourrait être bien avec un peu de rénovation.Heureusement un accueil agréable de la réception.Pour conclure nous ne renouvellerons pas l'expérience, très dommage... Inter Chalet nous avait habitué à mieux jusqu'ici. Conseils de voyage: Belle Région.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour, seul soucis en arrivant à 11h40 nous avons trouvé la réception fermé alors qu'on nous avait dit deux jours avant que si nous arrivions avant midi se serai ouvert et si nous arrivions après midi nous aurions les clés dans la boite aux lettres. Hors nous n'avons ni été accueilli ni eu de clé dans la boite au lettres et c'était une fermeture exceptionnel dont nous n'avions pas été averti. Nous avons donc dû patienter jusqu'à 15h avec nos bagages donc nous n'avons pas profité de l'après midi. Et déçu aussi de la réalité par rapport aux photos extérieur du site et nous n'avons pas non plus été prévenu des travaux. Mais sinon bel appartement intérieur propre et calme avec une belle vue.
