The holiday rental:
This apartment features stylish furnishings and a high level of comfort. With 120 m² of space, the apartment offers plenty of room for up to 6 people to enjoy a relaxing holiday. The large living area, featuring a sofa suite, smart TV, fully equipped kitchenette, and dining area, is perfect for spending time with family or friends. In total, the apartment has three bedrooms, each with a double bed. The spacious and modern bathroom features a bathtub, a separate shower, a laundry area, and a washing machine. There is also a guest bathroom on the ground floor for shared use. The entire apartment is heated by underfloor heating. All windows are equipped with electric blinds. High-speed fiber-optic Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the building. The apartment is located on the 1st floor. There is only one garage on the ground floor.
In front of the house, there is a seating area on a small lawn. A grill, patio furniture, lounge chairs, and a parasol are provided. In the garden, younger guests can play on the trampoline or in the treehouse. You can park your car right in front of the house. A lockable room for bicycles is available.
The town:
Hohen Viecheln is a small, idyllic fishing village at the northern tip of Lake Schwerin. Guests who come here feel right at home. The village lies on the edge of the Döpe Nature Reserve. In Hohen Viecheln, you can walk to the fishmonger’s (which sells fresh fish and offers light meals), a playground, a boat rental, a swimming beach with a large sunbathing area, and a bus stop. Well-maintained biking and hiking trails run through the village.
Surroundings, Leisure, and Day Trips:
The state capital, Schwerin, is just a 20-minute drive away. The castle, the castle gardens, and the Old Town with its cathedral are well worth seeing. In Schwerin, you’ll find, for example, the zoo, TV tower, climbing forest, cinema, bowling alley, shopping centers, mini-golf, indoor playground, fire brigade museum, boat tours, and much more. The Hanseatic city of Wismar, an UNESCO World Heritage Site, is also just 15–20 minutes away. The harbour and the old town are well worth a visit. In about 25 minutes, you can reach the beautiful beaches along the Baltic Sea, such as Zierow, Wohlenberger Wiek, or Hohen Wieschendorf.
