Beautiful "rustico" cottage "Rinaldo", 950 m a.s.l., renovated. In the hamlet Darana 10 km from the centre of Gravedona, 58 km from the centre of Como, 62 km from the centre of Lecco, on a slope, 10 km from the lake, in the countryside. Private: natural state property with courtyard. 10 km long very bumpy, steep, narrow motor access (2 km via unmade road, mountain road). Parking at the house. Shop 11 km, grocery 4 km, supermarket 11 km, restaurant 4 km, bus stop 3.7 km, railway station "Como" 58 km, pebble beach "Lido di Gravedona" 10 km, outdoor swimming pool 10 km. Marina 10 km, golf course (18 hole) 37 km. Please note: Electricity only by solar energy. No electric devices with more than 250W (coffee machine, hairdryer).
3-room house 32 m2, south facing position. Rustic and cosy furnishings: living/sleeping room with 1 double sofabed, open-hearth fireplace, dining table, satellite TV and wood-burning stove. Exit to the terrace. 1 room with 1 french bed (160 cm). 1 room with 1 x 2 bunk beds. Open kitchen (Gas stove, 4 gas rings). Shower/WC. Wood heating. Solar power Heating not available in all rooms. Ruhe und Idylle inmitten eines Bergpanoramas

Meine Bewertung gilt nur für die Unterkunft selbst. Ich möchte trotzdem erwähnen, dass für die letzten Straßenabschnitte auf dem Weg zur Unterkunft wirklich ein vernünftiges Auto gebraucht wird. Wir sind bei jeder Auf- und Abfahrt mehrfach aufgesetzt (A3 mit Sportfahrwerk) einmal ist uns der Reifen aufgerissen. Lasst vorher etwas Druck ab ;) Die Lage der Unterkunft selbst ist ein Traum. Wir waren im kompletten Reisezeitraum quasi alleine in dem wunderschönen kleinen Geisterdörfchen oberhalb von Peglio untergebracht und konnten die Ruhe und Abgelegenheit vollends genießen. Am Morgen wurden wir meist durch die Glocken der umherstreifenden Ziegen und Kühe geweckt, total schön. Hier oben wird einem bewusst, dass es nicht viel zum Leben und Glücklichsein braucht. Das Häuschen ist einfach eingerichtet, aber wir hatten alles was man braucht. Einen Kühlschrank gab es nicht, es gibt eine Art Weinkeller der kühl aber nicht kalt ist. Die Umgebung ist toll, unzählige Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Gerne wieder, mit dem richtigen Auto :)

"Rinaldo" ist ein sehr gemütliches und sauberes Häuschen in einer idyllischen Lage. Ich hätte mir weichere Kissen und mehr Einzelschlafdecken gewünscht. Man benötigt alle Utensilien zum Geschirrabwaschen und Kohleanzünder, falls man Feuer machen möchte.

Tolles Haus, leider ist die Strasse eine tägliche Herausforderung

Das Haus ist sehr schön gelegen, tolle Terrasse mit einem genialen Blick auf den See. Wer die Einsamkeit liebt ist hier genau richtig. Einfacher Standart. Sauber, Kochen mit Gas ist toll. Strom war immer ausreichend vorhanden. Vermieter sind sehr nett und bemüht. Der Kühlschrank hat uns etwas gefehlt weil wir nun täglich einkaufen mussten.

Un petit paradis qui ce méritent

Magnifique petit chalet perdu dans les montagnes super propres et bien équipé un paradis paisible, Attention toute fois à l’accès prévoyez un véhicule assez avec hauteur de caisse importante idéalement un vrais 4x4 nous étions en Seat Ibiza c'est passé très bien mais charger c'étais compliqué on frottait par moment sinon cette endroit est vraiment parfait pour du calme et à une vue imprenable sur le lac de cômes.

Wenn man das richtige Fahrzeug hat ( Allrad ) um zum Haus hoch oben in den Bergen mit herrlichem Panaroma zu gelangen – einfach GROSSARTIG !!! Reisetipps: Ursprüngliche, gemütliche Gassen – kristallklares Wasser – tolles Panorama in den Bergen – einfach traumhaft.

Il faut absolument un 4*4 pour y allé , méfiez vous !il y avais plein de petites bêtes dans le lits , pas de torchon , le ménage bof .Beau lieu de vacances mais très très isolé et difficile d'accès. Conseils de voyage: Belle région, dommage les sentiers de rando non entretenu et les bon restaurants très rares.

Others might be spared

Most aspects ok, except that the plumbing let us down. We could only shower every other morning for lack of warm water. One morning no water at all. That was fixed, but the warm water not. The gravel road to the property is not fairly described. It should say „tough for anybody without four-wheel-drive.“ Its so tedious, nobody would do it more than necessary (more than once a day, like just for shopping. Or to pick something up.) That decisively aggravated the water problems, as it was hard to get support. That was not appreciated when the grievance was constructively mentioned. The otherwise nice local people running the place unfortunately were also not honest enough to own up to their failings in this matter.
