Our experience

As expected, except:Kitchen window towards the entrance can’t be used as people smoke/vape there and it smells up the apartment.Apartment still damp (even with windows open) as heat is turned off.Mentioned about the heat during the first stay, nada response. Complained about shower drain not doing so well. Nada response. On the bright side, no more ant graveyard. However, not sure if those and poison things are still legal in Germany! Someone said they aren’t. Beware!Perhaps some instructions of where to put what trash might be helpful as I think the trash outside belongs to the caretaker and Germans are rather possessive of there trash cans.Alternatively, try Rührberger Hof. Same price, great views, no dampness!

Egeter Ferienwohnung

Not bad. However, no washer (as advertised), no dryer, no mechanical vent in the bathroom. So, don’t expect towels to dry. Did request the heat settings to be changed so that there was a little heat in the bathroom….nada. Somehow the heater kicked in one day as it was a little cooler outside. Towels and bathroom dryed out. Ants seem to appreciate the constant state of dampness and we did sweep up quite the number of them.In my opinion, one or two nights are fine (wet towels are a turn off!). We did stay a week, but have family in town, so we spend minimal time here. The heater in the bathroom really should be independent from the central heating system so it can be used to dry stuff. Apparently, someone slept during the planning phase.
