Mountain Cabin Magic in the Ore Mountains.
Our hutzenAlm is located on 4,500 square metres in the heart of the Gimmlitztal Nature Reserve.
Currently, our offerings include two state-of-the-art, cozierly furnished holiday apartments, each with two separate bedrooms, a bathroom with a shower (underfloor heating), and a spacious living room/kitchen.
Our facilities also include a large kitchen-dining area (hutzenStub) with a tiled stove, two additional bathrooms in the basement, and a wellness area.
In our orchard meadow, nature lovers of all ages can use our two shepherd’s wagons to spend a night surrounded by nature.
Included for every guest is our wonderful outdoor area with a large sun terrace, a wooden tub, a fountain, an orchard, a fire pit, a stream, and a huge linden tree under which you’ll find a shady spot to sit even in the hottest summer…

Cooking and baking in a cosy atmosphere, sitting together, making plans, being silent, laughing, discussing, reminiscing, and crying and having fun, drinking wine, savouring the moment, and trying new things…
… and all of that right HERE!
In the cosy hutzenStub stands our pride and joy: a red tiled stove that invites you to cook together. A fully equipped country-style kitchen with a large refrigerator, dishwasher, separate oven, and induction cooktop can easily feed a large group of family or friends.
A solid wood table with a corner bench and a cosy sofa invite you to enjoy game nights and cosy get-togethers.
A large TV and good Wi-Fi are also part of the hutzenAlm’s amenities.

Wellness at the cabin.
Relax in the hot tub and the sauna!
Surrounded by spruce trees or with a herbal infusion, you can truly feel the Erzgebirge.
In our spacious hutzenSauna, you can sweat, relax, unwind, take a deep breath, and gaze directly out into nature through the large windows. At the same time, you can enjoy the crackling of the wood-burning stove from the lounge area or a hanging chair. To cool off, you can use the cool, natural spring water from the Gimmlitz well on the adjacent terrace, take a long dip in the snow in winter, or simply use the modern on-site shower.
In our wood-fired hot tub, you can bathe in the middle of the forest and relax under the open sky, summer or winter. Of course, not without heating it up properly first—no pain, no gain—which makes swimming twice as much fun.

Around the hutzenAlm
Our guests are welcome to use the beautiful outdoor facilities. The fields and forests surrounding the hutzenAlm are perfect for walking, hiking, biking, and cross-country skiing.

On-site fees: A deposit of 50% of the total price must be paid no later than 14 days after booking. The balance must be paid no later than the day of arrival. Check-in is available from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Check-out is available from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Keys will be handed over at the Hotel and Restaurant Goldener Stern, Markt 22, 09623 Frauenstein. Pets are allowed upon request (for a fee). Cots and rollaway beds are available. The following options are not included in the price but can be booked with us: sauna, hot tub, and barbecue hut. We’d be happy to offer these to you separately in advance.
