Vacation apartment Schafstall - Biohof Seifert

The 43-square-meter "Schafstall" holiday apartment is located on the top floor on the courtyard side of the house. From the balcony, our guests enjoy a beautiful view of the surrounding greenery. The cosy, well-furnished apartment features a bedroom with a double bed, a combined living-dining area with a built-in kitchen (ceramic cooktop, oven, refrigerator with freezer), satellite TV, and Wi-Fi, as well as a bathroom with a shower.



Our organic farm is located at the foot of the Geisingberg; we farm approximately 76 hectares of pastureland and 14 hectares of cropland organically. The pastureland is grazed by our herd of mother cows (Harz Red Highland cattle). Our livestock also includes two rabbits and four chickens, so there are almost always fresh eggs available. We completely renovated our residence with the help of 2019-2021, creating four cosy holiday apartments. Two of these apartments are wheelchair-accessible. We also have a cosy common room, so family gatherings and group trips are welcome here. Ample parking is available.
Our farm is located in the hiking area of the Altenberg municipality in the Eastern Ore Mountains. Hiking trails lead directly from our farm to nearby and more distant destinations. For example, to the Osterzgebirge Wildlife Park, up to the Geisingberg with its nature reserves, to Lauenstein Castle, or around Bärenstein with its local history museum and the Pochwerk on the market square. 



On-site costs: No deposit is required. The total amount is paid at the end of your stay by credit card or cash. Check-in: 3:00 PM–7:00 PM Check-out: 10:00 AM Keys are handed over in person on site. Pets: Not allowed. Cot/extra bed: Upon request. Tourist tax: Free for children under 6; €1.35 per night for ages 6–16; €1.60 per night for ages 17 and older. Check-in is possible from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m., and check-out is from 12:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.
