The unique nature on North Funen is ideal for hiking or cycling tours, where you can discover cosy villages, castles and manor houses. The Hindsholm peninsula is located on a number of small islands and headlands, including Romsø and Enebærodde. At the northernmost tip of Hindsholm lies the beautiful nature reserve Fyns Hoved with sweeping views over land and water. You can also visit the birthplace of the fairytale writer Hans Christian Andersen in the old town centre of Odense and pay a visit to the open-air museum Den Fynske Landsby, where you can walk through a village environment as it was in Andersen's time.
