Design Meets Nature

This unique modular home, a passive house built by Biobuilds, combines what often seems incompatible: sustainable living and comfort. The Brenztal Eco Lodge was born out of a desire to create a place where eco-friendly tourism and quality go hand in hand. Our goal is to offer our guests a temporary home that combines sustainability with modern living.

Large windows bring nature into the living room. Clean lines, high-quality materials, and a sense of tranquility—that’s the Brenztal Eco Lodge. Enjoy the comfort of the stylishly furnished rooms, relax in the private sauna, or wind down the evening with a glass of regional wine on the terrace. The surrounding area invites you to enjoy numerous activities—whether hiking, biking, or simply soaking up the fresh air. With us, you don’t have to choose between environmental consciousness and luxury. The lodge is operated energy-efficiently using state-of-the-art technology, and every detail has been designed with nature in mind—from sustainable building materials to a climate-friendly energy supply.


About the Lodge

The Brenztal Eco Lodge, our exclusive modular lodge, is situated on a 420-square-meter property that is available for your exclusive use.
The lodge enjoys a quiet yet central location between Giengen an der Brenz, Heidenheim, and Dillingen. Aalen, Ellwangen, Ulm, Schwäbisch Gmünd, and Esslingen are less than an hour away; Stuttgart is approximately 120 kilometres away, and Augsburg is approximately 80 kilometres away. Everywhere you go, you’ll find a wealth of cultural and culinary experiences that will make your stay unforgettable. And don’t forget: Giengen an der Brenz, home of the famous Steiff bears, is definitely worth a visit.

The Brenztal Eco Lodge is the ideal starting point for outdoor adventures in every season—you can set out on beautiful hikes through nature right from your front door. The surrounding area offers a variety of hiking destinations, such as the Eselsburg Valley and the Gundelfinger Moos; explore the Charlottenhöhle cave or hike along the Albschäfer Trail. Bring your bike and discover the bike paths along the Danube.

Spanning 38 square metres, the house itself impresses with its high-quality amenities and stylish design. Solid oak hardwood floors create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The house features a separate bedroom with a comfortable king-size bed. In the dining area and kitchen, you’ll find everything you need for cooking and dining: a stove, oven, refrigerator with freezer, and dishwasher, as well as a toaster, electric kettle, espresso machine, and kitchen utensils. The well-appointed bathroom features a rain shower, toilet, towel warmer, sink, and hair dryer, plus a washing machine and dryer. The living area offers plenty of space to relax—here you can enjoy the peace and luxury.

High-speed Wi-Fi and a smart TV provide great entertainment options.

The house is designed as a smart home and features voice control for many functions. A smart home hub with a high-quality speaker provides musical accompaniment for your stay via Bluetooth or streaming, as desired.


New starting in spring 2025

Starting in spring 2025, the garden and the spacious, sunny terrace will be completed, where you can relax, enjoy the fresh air, or have a barbecue. A highlight will certainly be the barrel sauna in the garden, which will offer you a unique wellness experience all year round. After a long day in nature or a trip into town, relax in your own sauna and unwind.

A carport for two cars and an 11-kW wall box will also be available. The carport’s roof will be completely covered with solar panels, allowing us to make a positive contribution to environmental protection here as well.
