About this property

Holi Huus A - Sustainable Tiny Loft Near St. Peter Ording

Holistic tiny houses for climate-positive getaways with maximum comfort.

The seven-meter-high windows, offering sweeping views to the west across the wet meadows of the bird sanctuary, let you enjoy the sunset from your sofa every evening while the fireplace crackles.

The solid-wood homes, constructed from sustainably sourced timber, feature a heat pump, a solar power system, and a biological wastewater treatment system. A charging station for electric vehicles is available.

Sustainability meets design:

We’ve lovingly furnished both accommodation with different colour schemes and fully equipped them so that nothing is left to be desired and you can arrive with just a small bag.

Space to breathe:

The large window wall also serves as the entrance, simplifying the floor plan and creating a minimalist yet spacious living experience. The seven-meter-high ceilings let you really breathe deeply, as does the healthy indoor climate achieved through the use of untreated wood and a foil-free construction method. This benefits more than just allergy sufferers—you’ll sleep better and notice the pleasant, calming effect of the wooden surroundings the moment you step inside. The underfloor heating provides pleasant warmth year-round and can be regulated from inside the house. Should the house happen to get too warm during the warmer months, you can cool it down in just a few minutes using the air conditioning via remote control. The fireplace also allows you to enjoy additional cosy warmth at any time. A basket for firewood is provided, as is an ash bucket with gloves.

Chill-out zone with an outdoor feel:

The living room features a fireplace and a sofa area where you can snuggle up. The sweeping view is breathtaking in any weather—here, staying indoors feels just like being outside. You can spot deer and pheasants and gaze out over the wet meadows all the way to the wind turbines on the horizon. A bench under the stairs offers a place to sit and some storage space.

Kitchen:

The built-in kitchen separates the living area from the bathroom and includes a closet for jackets, shirts, and anything else you’d like to hang on hangers, as well as the passageway to the bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need: a high-quality cast-iron pot set, glasses and dishes, a dining table, cork coasters, a Nespresso machine with a milk frother and eco-friendly capsules, a toaster, plus a kettle, egg cups, sharp knives, and of course cutlery, cooking spoons, a grater, and a vegetable peeler, a corkscrew, espresso cups, salad bowls, a butter dish, a carafe, and much more. A dishwasher and a refrigerator with a freezer compartment are available. In the closet, you’ll find a step stool so that all the cabinets are easily accessible. You’ll also find extension cords so you can work anywhere in the house and charge your laptop. In the cabinets above the bathroom door, you’ll also find extra comforters and pillows.

Bathroom:

The spacious bathroom, decorated in shades of grey and green, echoes the colours of the surroundings and features a floor-to-ceiling window. The open shower has a super-soft rain showerhead, and your skin and hair will love it—our water softener ensures soft water that leaves no limescale residue. Indirect lighting in the mirror, a hair dryer, and large drawers for your toiletries, as well as slate shelves for soaps and other items, round out the high-quality amenities. Since the house has its own eco-friendly wastewater treatment system, please do not flush personal hygiene items down the toilet and do not use toxic cleaning or personal care products.

Bedroom with workspace:

A 1.80-meter-wide four-poster bed with a medium-firm mattress ensures you’ll sleep really well and in ultimate comfort. Two pillow sizes are available (80x80 cm and 40x80 cm), and you can choose between one large comforter (240x220 cm) or two small standard-size ones. You can store additional clothing in the chest of drawers. A bedspread, decorative pillows, and nightstands are provided. The sisal rug provides pleasant acoustics, and the workspace with a stool and desk lamp also offers a view through the large window front out over the meadows.

Charging station for electric vehicles:

A charger is available. All guests receive exclusive access. Your usage will be billed after checkout.

Garden and sauna:

The 1,200-square-meter property is available for your use. You can set up the garden tables and chairs wherever you like—in front of your patio or in a spot of your choice, depending on the sun’s position or where you’d like some shade. You’ll also find a fire pit. Apples, pears, plums, and currants grow on the property and along the street, and you’re welcome to pick them. A sauna will also be installed starting in fall 2025.
