You can reach the well-known ski resorts of Kaprun and Zell am See in no time by car or ski bus. Kaprun is located near a glacier and, at 3029 metres above sea level, is pretty snow-sure. You can often ski there from November to May. The Zell am See ski resort is extensive and fun for beginners and advanced skiers. From the slopes you have a beautiful view of the lake. The Kaprun-Zell am See area has no less than 135 km of slopes.
