The Schlossblick holiday residence in Colditz offers you a luxurious and cosy holiday home that can accommodate up to eight guests. Spread across a total of 90 square metres are three bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, and two bathrooms—enough space for family, friends, or even just the two of you.

The bright rooms are comfortable, modern, and stylishly furnished, and our underfloor heating ensures a cosy warmth. The home spans two floors, with direct access to a private courtyard and a terrace, each offering a unique view of the castle. On the sun terrace, you’ll find yourself right next to the castle wall—an ideal spot for a relaxing morning coffee or to enjoy the evening sun.

In the high-quality, fully equipped kitchen—featuring a glass-ceramic cooktop, oven, dishwasher, microwave, electric kettle, and all necessary cooking utensils—you’ll enjoy preparing meals together. A refrigerator with a separate freezer compartment offers plenty of space for your groceries.

A private infrared sauna made of hemlock wood, a walk-in, extra-large shower with an additional rain shower function, and a heated towel rack are the hallmarks of the master bathroom on the ground floor. Our bathroom on the ground floor impresses with its stylish design; the highlight is the modern glass sink. A washing machine and dryer are also available and can be used free of charge.

Two double beds and two single beds (hotel-quality box-spring beds), as well as an additional sleeper sofa with a spring core, offer you flexible, restful, and high-quality sleeping options. Of course, towels, bed linens, and tea towels are already included—you don’t have to worry about a thing.

The holiday home’s central, quiet location is the perfect starting point for your activities. Hiking and biking trails along the Mulde River start right outside the front door or are just a few hundred metres away. Bus stops are within easy walking distance, free parking is available near the property, and a separate, lockable bike storage area is provided on the property for your bike tours.

The terrace, which was completely renovated in 2026, features an electric grill, two lounge chairs, and a large dining table with a parasol. Free and fast Wi-Fi, as well as a large TV with popular streaming services, are standard features of the accommodation, and a collection of board games, various books, and informational brochures about the region and Colditz Castle provide entertainment.

The house’s concept is based on the principles of sustainability. We aim to protect nature by using green electricity, water-saving showers, eco-friendly cleaning products, and a well-thought-out waste management system. We want to make sure you have everything you need. Families, groups, couples, hikers, cyclists, and motorcyclists will all find ideal conditions here. The property is operated in an allergy-friendly manner. Please understand that pets are therefore generally not permitted on the premises.
