Modern city apartment in a central location in Essen's pedestrianised city centre. With 60 m² of space, the apartment can accommodate up to 6 people with 2 bedrooms, high-quality box-spring beds and a comfortable sofa bed. Open-plan kitchen with full equipment including dishwasher and washer-dryer, bathroom with shower. Fast WiFi, 55-inch smart TV with Netflix and Disney+. Bright, light-flooded rooms thanks to large windows with a view. Short distances to restaurants, sights and local transport.



The Space:

This modern, centrally located Ruhr-area-style apartment for up to 6 people near Kennedyplatz in the city center was completely renovated in December 2024. It has two bedrooms with box-spring beds: one room with two single beds and one room with a 1.60-meter-wide double bed. The spacious living room features a comfortable 1.48-meter-wide sofa bed for two people, a 55-inch smart TV, free streaming with Netflix and Disney Plus, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a cozy dining area. A crib and high chair are available upon request and subject to availability for 10 Euros per stay.



The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator and freezer, coffee maker, kettle, stovetop, oven, toaster, microwave, dishwasher, and washer-dryer with free detergent. Additionally, freshly ground salt and pepper, as well as four different spices and oils, are provided free of charge. The completely renovated bathroom features a rain shower. Towels and bed linens are provided free of charge.



We provide two bottles of water, a selection of coffee capsules, and six varieties of tea free of charge. We’ll also provide you with a starter supply of consumables such as toilet paper, paper towels, soap, etc. This is usually enough to last for the first few days. For longer stays, we ask that you replenish any necessary supplies yourself. Of interest to larger groups: We have three apartments in this building that can accommodate up to 16 people in total.



The apartment is centrally located in Essen's city centre on the 4th floor (no lift), just a few steps away from Kennedyplatz, where the Christmas market with its huge network of lights takes place every year and is voted the most beautiful Christmas market in Europe. Many other sights and important places are in the immediate vicinity: City centre, main railway station, Aalto-Theater, Philharmonie, Grillo-Theater, Limbecker Platz, Berliner Platz, Museum Folkwang, Messe Essen, Grugapark, Essen University Hospital. In the apartment there is information about sights and restaurant recommendations in the vicinity as well as local and long-distance transport for initial orientation. Public parking is available nearby, for example in the Centralgarage car park under Kennedyplatz at €18 per day. There is a bakery right next to the flat and other breakfast options are just a few steps away.



Guest Access:

Guests will receive an email with an access code before arrival, which they can use for contactless check-in and to access their apartment at any time during their stay. Guests will also receive further information in advance by email.



The Neighborhood:

The apartment is located right in the heart of Essen's city center pedestrian zone; Kennedyplatz is just a few steps away, and the main train station is a few minutes' walk away.
