The accommodation is located in the heart of the idyllic Südbrookmerland holiday region, in the heart of East Frisia, surrounded by expansive meadows, fields, and canals. The rural setting offers plenty of peace and quiet, while numerous attractions and recreational activities are easily accessible.

Just about 1 kilometre away lies the Große Meer, East Frisia’s largest inland lake, which—with its swimming beach, paddle and pedal boat station, and numerous biking and hiking trails—is a popular destination for families, nature lovers, and water sports enthusiasts. Anglers with a valid guest fishing licence will also find plenty to enjoy here.

The central location makes for a variety of day trips: The historic town of Aurich, with its pedestrian zone, museums, and restaurants, is only about a 15-minute drive away. The seaport city of Emden, with its art museum, Otto-Huus, and harbour promenade, can be reached in about 20 minutes. For coastal enthusiasts, Greetsiel or Norddeich (each about a 30–35-minute drive) are charming destinations—ideal for mudflat hikes or a day trip to the East Frisian Islands. The North Sea is 15 km away as the crow flies

The Moormuseum in Moordorf, the dry beach in Tergast, and the numerous well-developed cycling networks through the fen landscape all make Südbrookmerland a diverse holiday destination for both relaxation and exploration.

Minimalist design and relaxation in and by the water

Welcome to Ferienhuus En Söten, your stylishly furnished retreat inthe heart of the popular holiday region on the Great Sea. This modern, comfortably furnished holiday home accommodates up to five people and features a fresh, harmonious design and like-new furnishings. Ideal for families, couples, or friends who want to combine peace and quiet, nature, and contemporary living comfort.

The house has three bedrooms: One bedroom with a double bed (180x200 cm) and one bedroom with two single beds (90x200 cm) are located on the upper floor. Another bedroom with a bed (120x200 cm) is on the ground floor. Please note that the upper floor is not suitable for people with limited mobility.

On the ground floor, a modern shower room offers special comfort for guests who appreciate barrier-free amenities. The bright living and dining area, featuring a cosy fireplace, invites you to relax. From there, you have a view of the garden, the boat dock, and the lake. In front of the house is a sunny porch, where you can wonderfully enjoy the day with a glass of wine or breakfast outdoors.

The garden features a hot tub for two to three people. You can book this as an additional option upon request. The paddleboat and the older bicycles are included in the price. Amenities include a high chair, patio furniture, a grill, and an outdoor shower.

At the Ferienhuus en Söten, peace and relaxation with East Frisian serenity are the top priorities. There are biking and hiking trails in the immediate vicinity. Numerous water sports activities are available at the Großes Meer. Day trips to Aurich, Emden, Greetsiel, or the North Sea coast offer a welcome change of pace.
