About this property

Sjökullen1 - red Swedish house by the lake - ideal for families and nature lovers

With its stunning lakeside location, this charming holiday home of approximately 110 sqm is a true dream house. Situated on a gently sloping plot of around 7,000 sqm, the house offers a beautiful view over the small mill lake (Lilla Kvarnsjö). The larger mill lake (Stora Kvarnsjö), with a private jetty and platform belonging to the house, is just 250 metres away. There’s also a boat at the jetty, which can be booked with or without a motor. Anglers are very welcome – we also offer expert support on-site. In the nearby town of Svenljunga (9 km), you’ll find plenty of shopping options, restaurants, cafés, and a bank. The region is called Västergötland. With a bit of luck, you might even spot a moose wandering past the house.
Up to 6 guests (more upon request) can enjoy an unforgettable stay at the holiday home in Revesjö. The house is spread over two floors. On the ground floor, you’ll find the living room (with fireplace) and an open-plan kitchen with a dining area. A small hallway leads to two bedrooms on this floor: one with a double bed, the other with a large single bed and a workspace. The first bathroom is also on the ground floor, equipped with a toilet, shower, washing machine (new in 2025), and a dryer. The hallway also has a second entrance door.

A staircase leads to the upper floor, where you'll find two more bedrooms and a second bathroom. One bedroom has a double bed, a cot, and a changing table (there’s also a Tripp Trapp high chair). The other bedroom has a single bed and an additional pull-out bed. The spacious bathroom on this floor features a washbasin, toilet, and bathtub.

In front of the house is a large sun deck with a view of the lake. The house is heated with an air-to-air heat pump, electric heaters in each room, and the cozy fireplace that keeps the living and dining area warm and inviting during the cooler seasons.

The nearest public swimming area on Lake Stora Kvarnsjön is about 500 metres away. Another bathing spot with a sandy beach can be found at Lake Holsjön, around 8 km away.

The world’s largest supermarket, “Gekås” in Ullared, is about 45 km away – a spectacular experience and highly recommended!
The Isaberg Mountain Resort is about 58 km away, offering, among other things, a moose park. A day trip to Gothenburg is also well worth it.

Man möchte garnicht wieder weg.
