Welcome to our artistically designed and personally run boutique guesthouse nestled in the countryside. This exceptional house (near Cologne) with a garden, four individually decorated bedrooms, three bathrooms, a kitchen, a dining room, terraces, and balconies invites you to linger in the Bergisches Land region. The artist's signature style is evident in every detail of this nearly 100-year-old house and its small but cosy rooms. The blend of design, art, upcycling, and antiques creates a unique stay and a special atmosphere. A source of inspiration and pure nature! The guest rooms are located in a designer/artist's house. In addition to the guest rooms, there is an artistic vintage shop in the house, which can be opened upon prior request. Many items from the extraordinary furnishings, etc., can be purchased directly on-site. Coffee and tea are available in the kitchen. Some rooms have direct access to balconies. The room decor changes regularly and may differ from the pictures. The local train station is about a 10-minute walk away. Trains to Cologne run every half hour during the day (travel time to Cologne Central Station is about 30 minutes). Free parking is available in front of the house. There is quick access to the motorway. Many hiking trails are located nearby, and you can also start your cycling tour directly from the house. Quiet residential area. Beautiful small town on the outskirts of Cologne. Health resort surrounded by greenery. The town centre with its numerous shops and restaurants is within easy walking distance. Hiking trails and an ideal location for all kinds of excursions in the Bergisches Land region. Excellent and quick connections to Cologne and the Cologne Trade Fair grounds. Unser kurzer Aufenthalt während der Gamescom für 3 Übernachtungen im "The ArtFull Boutique Guesthouse" im Kölner Vorort Overath bei Ingo Stein war wirklich großartig. Das Haus selbst ist wirklich einzigartig und war für uns 4 Erwachsene 2 jüngere Kinder perfekt. Wunderbar dekoriert mit viel Vintage-Chic versprüht es einen ganz eigenen Charme. Da fällt es bereits bei der Ankunft schwer, sich für eins der wirklich hübsch hergerichteten Zimmer zu entscheiden. Der große Garten war auch super für die Kids zum Spielen, in der Küche ist alles vorhanden, was man so braucht & die Bäder sind angenehm groß. Allerdings muss man wissen, dass es in diesem Haus zwar W-Lan, aber keinen Fernseher gibt. Den vermisst man aber auch nicht wirklich, denn es gibt sehr viel zu entdecken und zu erleben. Ingo als Gastgeber ist wirklich spitze. Freundlich und herzlich von der ersten Minute an. Die Kommunikation mit ihm war immer reibungslos und schnell über die FeWo App möglich. Er gab beispielsweise gleich nach der Ankunft Tipps zu Einkaufsmöglichkeiten & zum Nahverkehr in der Nähe. Einige süße und flüssige Überraschungen in der Küche waren ebenfalls für uns vorbereitet. Einfach toll! Und dass er uns sogar in seinem Privat-Wagen an einem Vormittag spontan mit nach Köln genommen und uns direkt vor der Messe abgesetzt hat, war ein echtes Highlight! Vielen Dank nochmal dafür.

Wir waren Ende Juni 2026 mit sieben Personen in der Unterkunft zu Gast. Es waren sowohl Kinder (2,5 Jahre) als auch Großeltern (80 Jahre) dabei und wir haben uns alle vom ersten Moment an rundum wohlgefühlt.Das Ferienhaus ist etwas ganz Besonderes. Es ist mit unglaublich viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und dekoriert. Man merkt in jedem Raum, dass der Gastgeber Künstler ist. Jedes Zimmer hat seinen eigenen Charme und ist individuell und geschmackvoll gestaltet. Auch die drei Badezimmer sind sehr schön eingerichtet.Das Haus bietet sehr viel Platz und eignet sich hervorragend für größere Familien oder Gruppen. Neben dem mit viel Herzblut angelegten Garten hat uns der großzügige Aufenthaltsbereich sehr gefallen. Auch die beiden Balkone waren super. Dort konnten wir gemeinsam sitzen und beim Blick ins Tal die Sonnenuntergänge erleben.Ein großes Lob gilt auch unserem Gastgeber Ingo. Er war von Anfang an sehr herzlich, hilfsbereit und jederzeit gut erreichbar. Zur Begrüßung standen liebevoll vorbereitete Kleinigkeiten zum Essen und Trinken für uns bereit – eine sehr schöne Geste, über die wir uns sehr gefreut haben.Auch Sauberkeit, Check-in und die gesamte Organisation waren absolut hervorragend. Man merkt, mit wie viel Herzblut dieses Ferienhaus geführt wird.Wir können diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Vielen Dank, Ingo, für die wunderbare Zeit – wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen!

Wir waren mit 9 Personen drei Tage über Himmelfahrt hier zu Besuch und sind sehr begeistert von dieser Ferienwohnung. Dieses Künstler-Haus ist wunderschön eingerichtet und dekoriert, es gibt unglaublich viel zu entdecken. Eine der in dieser Hinsicht ungewöhnlichsten und herausragendsten Ferienwohnungen, die es überhaupt geben dürfte. Viele der eingerichteten und ausgestellten Kunstwerke kann man auch käuflich erwerben. Mit vier Schlafzimmern, drei Bädern, einer Küche, einem Ess- und Aufenthaltszimmer, zwei großen Balkonen (einer mit einem weiteren Kühlschrank), einer Gartenhütte und viel Gartenfläche mit Sitzmöglichkeiten kann man sich hier auch bei Vollbelegung von 9 Personen gut entfalten und hat genügend Platz. Die Kommunikation mit Ingo ist perfekt, prompt und sehr freundlich. Auch vor Ort klappte alles reibungslos incl. nützlicher Tipps für vor Ort. Ingo hat zudem auf Nachfrage extra noch einen Grill für uns besorgt und zum Empfang Sekt, Kindersekt, Schokolade, Chips, Obst und weiteres kostenlos bereit gestellt. Da kommt man gerne an! Die Lage in Overath ist sehr gut für Ausflüge ins Bergische Land (z.B. Tropfsteinhöhle Wiehl), nach Köln, Bonn oder einfach an den Rhein geeignet. In Overath gibt es fußläufig Restaurants (z.B. das Brauhaus), Bäcker und Spielplatz.Diese außergewöhnliche Unterkunft kann man nur wärmstens empfehlen, für ein paar entspannte Tage in ästhetisch ansprechender Umgebung!
